Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi, tingkat intelegensi dan manifestasi perilaku terhadap hasil belajar biologi pada siswa SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012 dengan jumlah 150 siswa, Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi, tingkat intelegensi, dan manifestasi perilaku sedangkan hasil belajar sebagai variabel terikat. pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan software SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,063 antara variabel motivasi (X1) dengan hasil belajar (Y) dengan Sig 0,223 > maka Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,155 antara variabel intelegensi (X2) dengan hasil belajar (Y) dengan Sig 0,029 > maka Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dan nilai koefisien korelasi -0,254 antara variabel manifestasi perilaku (X3) dengan hasil belajar (Y) dengan Sig 0,001 > maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan antara motivasi, tingkat intelegensi dan manifestasi perilaku terhadap hasil belajar. Namun, motivasi tingkat intelegensi tidak signifikan. Sedangkan manifestasi perilaku signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan.

The results of data analysis showed a correlation coefficient of -0.063 between motivational variables (X1) and learning outcomes (Y) with a .223 Sig > α then Ho is accepted and Ha rejected. Value of the correlation coefficient of 0.155 between intelligence variables (X2) and learning outcomes (Y) with a .029 Sig > α then Ho is accepted and Ha rejected. And -0.254 correlation coefficient between the variable manifestations of behavior (X3) with learning outcomes (Y) with a .001 Sig > α then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion from this research that there is a relationship between motivation, level of intelligence and behavioral manifestations of the learning outcomes. However, the motivation level of intelligence is not significant.
