Tujuan skripsi ini yaitu pertama, untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi dialog Presiden Immanuel Guiterez dan Nona Valentina Arraoyo dalam novel Sang Penindas karya Achmad Munif. Tujuan kedua, yaitu mendeskripsikan fungsi dari masing bentuk tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi dialog Presiden Immanuel Guiterez dan Nona Valentina Arraoyo dalam novel Sang Penindas karya Achmad Munif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Data penelitian yaitu tuturan dari Presiden Immanuel Guiterez dan Nona Valentina Arraoyo. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Analisis data menggunakan model dari teori Miles dan Huberman. Penentuan data dalam novel Sang Penindas karya Achmad Munif berdasarkan pada konteks tuturan dan indikator bentuk tindak tutur lokusi, ilokusi, dan perlokusi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan 439 data tindak tutur. Tindak tutur lokusi berjumlah 16 data; tindak tutur ilokusi yaitu asertif berjumlah 66 data, direktif berjumlah 144 data, komisif berjumlah 11 data, ekspresif berjumlah 43 data, deklarasi berjumlah 1 data; tindak tutur perlokusi berjumlah 158 data. Berdasarkan hasil yang ditemukan tindak tutur yang paling mendominasi adalah tindak tutur ilokusi dengan jumlah 265 data karena pada percakapan Presiden Guiterez dan Nona Valentina dalam novel Sang Penindas karya Achmad Munif lebih banyak menggunakan tindak tutur ilokusi yang memiliki tujuan atau niat untuk mempengaruhi mitra tuturnya. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan juga bahwa tindak tutur ilokusi dan perlokusi saling berkaitan karena ketika penutur menuturkan ilokusi dan terdapat respon verbal maupun nonverbal dari mitra tutur yang sesuai dengan keinginan penutur maka hal tersebut merupakan perlokusi.

The purpose of this research was first, to describe the speech acts in the forms of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts contained in the dialogs made between President Immanuel Guiterez and Miss Valentina Arraoyo in the novel entitled Sang Penindas written by Achmad Munif and second, to explain each form’s functions of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts from the dialogs made between President Immanuel Guiterez and Miss Valentina Arraoyo in the novel entitled Sang Penindas written by Achmad Munif. This study was classified into qualitative research. The research data were the utterances made by President Immanuel Guiterez and Miss Valentina Arraoyo. The data were obtained using listening and note-taking technique. The data were then analyzed using the model from the theory of Miles and Huberman. The research data obtained from the novel entitled Sang Penindas written by Achmad Munif were based on the context of utterances and indicators of locutionary, illocutionary, perlocutionary speech acts. The research results found 439 speech acts data. There were 16 locutionary speech act data; 114 assertive illocutionary speech act data, 66 directive illocutionary speech act data, 11 commissive illocutionary speech act data, 43 expressive illocutionary speech act data, 1 declarative illocutionary speech act data; and 158 perlocutionary speech act data. Based on the reseach results, it was found that the most dominating speech act was the illocutionary speech act with the total of 265 data since the dialogs made between Presiden Guiterez and Miss Valentina contained in the novel entitled Sang Penindas written by Achmad Munif, used more illocutionary speech acts to influence the interlocutor. This research also found that illocutionary and perlocutionary speech act were interrelated since when the speaker made an illocutionay act, there was a verbal or nonverbal response from the interlocuter in accordance with the speaker’s expectation, thus it was known as perlocutionary.
