Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hasil analisis faktor kesulitan membaca permulaan siswa, ketepatan penggunaan metode struktural analitik sintetik dan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa di kelas 1 sekolah dasar berdasarkan 4 jural dan 1 skripsi yang dianalisis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada membaca permulaan melalui metode struktural analitik sintetik di kelas 1 sekolah dasar. Sumber data yang digunakan mencakup sumber data sekunder dan sumber data primer. Instrumen utama pada penelitian ini ialah peneliti itu sendiri dan instrumen pendukung yaitu pedoman aspek penelitian yang dianalisis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa membaca permulaan melalui metode struktural analitik sintetik, 1) faktor kesulitan membaca permulaan siswa bermacam-macam diantaranya yaitu: a) faktor fisiologis, b) faktor intelektual, c) faktor lingkungan, d) faktor psikologis. 2) metode struktural analitik sintetik tepat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis pada 5 penelitian terdahulu yang telah dilakukan. 3) kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa, pada hasil analisis 5 penelitian terdahulu terjadi peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa setiap siklusnya maupun pada pelaksaan posttest setelah penerapan metode struktural analitik sintetik pada pembelajaran membaca permulaan.

This research was conducted to figure out the analysis results on factors influencing the students' difficulties in reading at beginner level, accuracy in using the synthetic analytical structural method and ability in reading at beginner level based on the analyzed 4 journals and 1 undergraduate thesis. The study used descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research focused on reading at beginner level through structural analytic synthetic (SAS) method at Grade 1 of elementary school. The data sources included secondary and primary data sources. The main research instrument was the researcher, while the supporting instruments were the analyzed research-aspect guidelines. Data were collected using literature and documentation studies. The research results show that reading at beginner level through synthetic analytic structural (SAS) method: 1) students had various difficulties in reading at beginner level including: a) physiological factors, b) intellectual factors, c) environmental factors, d) psychological factors; 2) The appropriate synthetic analytical structural method was used to improve the students' ability in reading at beginner level as proven by the analysis results in the conducted 5 previous studies; 3) students’ ability in reading at beginner level. In the analysis results of the conducted 5 previous studies, the students' ability in reading at beginner level increased in each cycle as well as in posttest after the implementation of synthetic analytic structural (SAS) method.
