
Pengaruh Disiplin Belajar Dan Percaya Diri Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas VIII MTs. Al-Khairaat Tarakan

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs. Al-Khairaat Tarakan; 2) Pengaruh percaya diri terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs. Al-Khairaat Tarakan; dan 3) Pengaruh disiplin belajar dan percaya diri secara simultan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs. AlKhairaat Tarakan.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 34 siswa diambil dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan persamaan regresi 17,875 + 0,370 X1. Pengaruh percaya diri terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa dengan persamaan regresi 7,209 + 0,752 X2. Hasil analisis regresi linear berganda menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs. Al-Khairaat Tarakan dengan persamaan regresi 3,485 + 0,216 X1 + 0,442 X2. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi, diketahui bahwa prestasi belajar matematika dipengaruhi oleh variabel disiplin belajar yaitu sebesar 62,9%, prestasi belajar matematika dipengaruhi oleh variabel percaya diri sebesar 63,1%, dan prestasi belajar matematika dipengaruhi oleh variabel disiplin belajar dan percaya diri secara simultan yaitu sebesar 73,8%.

This study aims to determine: 1) The effect of learning discipline on students’ mathematics achievement of VIII grade students of MTs. Al-Khairaat Tarakan; 2) The influence of confidence in students’ mathematics achievement of VIII grade students of MTs. Al-Khairaat Tarakan; and 3) The influence of disciplines in learning and self-confidence simultaneously in students’ mathematics achievement of VIII Grade students of MTs. Al-Khairaat Tarakan. The research design was quantitative research with a survey method. This research was conducted in the odd semester of 2018/2019 academic year. The population of this study was VIII grade students that consisted of 2 classes. The sample in this study was amounted to 34 students that taken by using a saturated sampling technique. The data collection techniques in this study were using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques were used descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that simple linear regression analysis showed there was an effect of learning discipline on students' mathematics learning achievement with the regression equation 17.875 + 0.370 X1. The influence of confidence in students' mathematics learning achievement with the regression equation 7,209 + 0,752 X2. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that there was a significant effect of learning discipline on mathematics learning achievement of VIII class students of MTs. Al-Khairaat Tarakan with the regression equation 3.485 + 0.216 X1 + 0.442 X2. Based on the calculation of the coefficient determination, it was known that mathematics learning achievement was influenced by learning discipline variables that was equal to 62.9%, mathematics learning achievement was influenced by variables of confidence of 63.1%, and mathematics learning achievement was influenced by learning and self-confidence disciplines simultaneous that was equal to 73.8%.
