Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini yaitu peneliti ingin mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter pada novel Pulang karya Tere Liye yang diterbitkan oleh Republika cetakan 2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari novel Pulang Karya Tere Liye. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan teknik baca, menandai, catat. Novel Pulang Karya Tere Liye yang didasarkan pada nilai pendidikan karakter. Perlu dianalisis karena novel pulang merupakan salah satu bentuk karya sastra yang dapat dijadikan pedoman untuk memberi masukan perilaku dan sikap pembaca baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui nilai-nilai yang terkandung didalamnya, sehingga pembaca sebagai penikmat karya sastra dapat mengambil nilai pendidikan yang baik sesuai dengan nilai yang terkandung di dalam novel tersebut. Jumlah keseluruhan Nilai Pendidikan Karakter yang di temukan peneliti berjumlah 66 data. Data yang sudah diperoleh dianalisis dengan cara menginterpretasikan data tersebut kemudian dibuat kesimpulan. Nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam novel Pulang karya Tere Liye adalah nilai pendidikan karakter religius yang diperoleh sebanyak 15 data, nilai pendidikan karakter jujur yang diperoleh sebanyak 3 data, nilai pendidikan karakter toleransi yang diperoleh sebanyak 5 data, nilai pendidikan karakter disiplin yang diperoleh sebanyak 8 data, nilai pendidikan karakter kerja keras yang diperoleh sebanyak 7 data, nilai pendidikan karakter kreatif yang diperoleh sebanyak 4 data, nilai pendidikan karakter demokratis yang diperoleh sebanyak 3 data, nilai pendidikan karakter rasa ingin tahu yang diperoleh sebanyak 2 data, nilai pendidikan karakter gemar membaca yang diperoleh sebanyak 3 data, nilai pendidikan karakter peduli sosial yang diperoleh sebanyak 8 data dan jumlah data nilai pendidikan karakter tanggung jawab yang diperoleh sebanyak 8 data. Nilai pendidikan karakter yang paling dominan adalah nilai pendidikan karakter religius.

The purpose of this study was the researcher described the value of character education in Tere Liye's Pulang, published by Republika in 2015. The method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method. Sources of data in this study were obtained from the novel “Pulang” Karya Tere Liye. The data in this study were obtained by reading, marking, taking notes. The novel Pulang Karya Tere Liye was based on the value of character education. It needs to be analyzed because the novel home was a form of literary work that can be used as a guide to provide input on the behavior and attitudes of readers, either directly or indirectly through the values contained therein, so that readers as connoisseurs of literary works can take good educational values in accordance with the value contained in the novel. The total number of Character Education Values found by researchers was 66 data. The data that has been obtained was analyzed by interpreting the data and then making conclusions. The value of character education contained in the novel Pulang by Tere Liye was the value of religious character education obtained as much as 15 data, the value of honest character education obtained was 3 data, the value of tolerance character education obtained was 5 data, the value of disciplinary character education obtained was 8. data, the value of hard work character education obtained was 7 data, the value of creative character education obtained was 4 data, the value of democratic character education obtained was 3 data, the value of curiosity character education obtained was 2 data, the value of character education for likes to read As much as 3 data were obtained, the value of social care character education obtained was 8 data and the number of data on the value of responsibility character education obtained was 8 data. The most dominant character education value was the value of religious character education.
