
Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) Berbantu Media Papan Refun Terhadap Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Tarakan

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) dipadukan dengan media papan refun terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis pada materi relasi dan fungsi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018/2019 di SMP Negeri 11 Tarakan.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan populasi siswa kelas VIII dan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan tes tertulis. Tes tertulis digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Pada uji efektivitas dengan menggunakan one sample t-test untuk mengukur tingkat keefektifan model pembelajaran dan uji kondisi akhir menggunakan uji independent sample test untuk melihat model pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Untuk analisis inferensial yang digunakan dalam hal ini menggunakan bantuan software SPSS versi 22.0 for windows.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil analisis uji one sample t-test diperoleh nilai sig. 0,000 < 0,05, maka H0 ditolak yang berarti model pembelajaran CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) berbantu media papan refun efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Tarakan.

This study was aimed to determine the effectiveness of using the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model combined with the refun board media on the ability of mathematical representation in material relations and functions. This research was conducted in the first semester in academic year of 2018/2019 at SMP Negeri 11 Tarakan. The research used a quasi-experimental with population was the 2 classes from VIII grade students. The technique of collecting samples was a simple random sampling. The technique of collecting the data was by using documentation and written test. Written test was used to measure students' mathematical representation abilities. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The effectiveness test using one sample t-test to measure the effectiveness of the learning model and the final condition test using the independent sample test to see a better learning model. For inferential analysis used in this case using the help of SPSS software version 22.0 for Windows. Based on the results of this research indicates that the results of the one sample t-test analysis obtained the sig value. 0,000 < 0,05, then H0 is rejected, which means that the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model assisted by board refun media in terms is effective, reviewed from the ability of mathematical representation of the VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Tarakan.
