Abstract

Penelitian terkait sifat pertumbuhan perikanan yang berhubungan dengan alat tangkap rawai dasar di perairan Tarakan umumnya belum banyak diketahui secara detail khususnya pada hasil tangkapannya. Hal ini merupakan hal yang penting dalam upaya pengelolaan sumberdaya perikanan yang bertanggung jawab agar sumberdaya ikan yang ada di Perairan tetap ada dan lestari, terkhusus di perairan pulau Tarakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menjelaskan terkait aspek biologi ikan yang mencakup pertumbuhan ikan, hubungan panjang dan berat, faktor kondisi serta rasio kelamin pada ikan arut (Pomadasys sp) dan ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus sp) di Perairan Tarakan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan observasi dan pengamatan serta pengukuran panjang – berat dan metode pengumpulan sampel dengan purposive random sampling, yang digunakan untuk menganalisis model dan sifat pertumbuhan, hubungan panjang dan berat, faktor kondisi dan rasio kelamin ikan hasil tangkapan utama rawai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari–Maret 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, nisbah kelamin pada ikan arut (Pomadasys sp.) dan ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus sp.) hasil tangkapan rawai dasar di perairan Tarakan bahwa ikan betina yang lebih dominan tertangkap. Hasil pengolahan data pertumbuhan yang pada sampel ikan arut (Pomadasys sp) diperoleh nilai model pertumbuhan sebesar yaitu Lt = 59.338 (1 – e -0.0352 (t – 0.62876)) dan pada sampel ikan kakap merah (Lutjanus sp) diperoleh nilai sebesar Lt = 64.143 (1 – e -0.0711 (t – 0.30246)). Hasil analisa panjang-berat ikan arut jantan-betina dengan sifat pertumbuhan allometrik positif dan ikan kakap merah jantan-betina dengan sifat pertumbuhan allometrik negatif. Nilai faktor kondisi yang didapat arut jantan selama penelitian berkisar 0,96 – 1,09, arut betina kisaran 0,79 – 1,40, ikan kakap merah jantan berkisar 0,86 – 1,19, kakap merah betina berkisar 0,86 – 1.21 dan nisbah kelamin yang diperoleh tidak seimbang.

Research on fishery growth related to the use of bottom long line in Tarakan waters has not been generally known in details, especially related to the fish catch. This is actually something important in managing the fishery resources responsible for fish resources continuously available, especially in Tarakan Waters. The purposes of this research are to figure out and explain the fish biological aspects related to growth, the relationship between length and weight, condition factor and gender ratio of Arut fish (Pomadasys sp) and red snapper fish (Lutjanus sp) in Tarakan Waters. This research used the observational and investigation approach as well as lengh-weight measurement. The samples were collected using a purposive random sampling technique to be analyzed based on the fish model growth charateristics, the relantionship between length and weight, condition factor and gender ratio of fish mainly caught using the bottom long line. This research was conducted in January-March 2021. The research results show that gender ratio of Arut fish (Pomadasys sp) and red snapper fish (Lutjanus sp) caught using the bottom long line in Tarakan was dominated by female fish. The data processing results on the growth of Arut fish (Pomadasys sp) show that the value of fish growth model was Lt = 59.338 (1 – e -0.0352 (t – 0.62876)) and red snapper fish (Lutjanus sp) was Lt = 64.143 (1 – e -0.0711 (t – 0.30246)). The analysis results on fish length and weight show that the male-female Arut fish had the positive-allometric growth, while the male-female res snapper fish had the negative allometric growth. The condition factor value obtained by male Arut fish during the research wan approximately 0.96 – 1.09, while that obtained by female Arut fish was approximately 0.79 – 1.40. the condition factor value obtained by the male re snapper was approximately 0.86 – 1.19, while that of female res snapper was approximately 0.86 – 1.21.
