Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis komik digital pada materi teks anekdot di kelas X SMKN 1 Tarakan. Penelitian ini meenggunakan model Borg and Gall yang dimodifikasi oleh Setyosari (2013:230) menjadi 7 langkah yaitu (1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan produk awal, (4) uji coba awal, (5) revisi produk, (6) uji coba lapangan, (7) revisi produk akhir. Analisis data dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Kriteria kelayakan minimal berada dikategori layak 61%-100%. Penilaian dinilai dari validasi ahli dan respon siswa, validasi ahli media mendapat persentase 95%, validasi ahli materi mendapat persentase 82%, dan validasi ahli bahasa mendapat persentase 85%. Pada masa pandemi COVID- 19 uji coba produk dilakukan secara online melalui google classroom di kelas X Perhotelan SMKN 1 Tarakan mendapat persentase 83%. Hasil penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran komik digital ini menunjukkan bahwa media memenuhi kelayakkan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia khususnya pada materi teks anekdot.

This reasearch aim was develop a digital comic learning media anecdotal text material in class X SMKN 1 Tarakan. This study used the Borg and Gall model, which modified seven steps; (1) reaserch and information gathering, (2) planning, (3) initial product development, (4) initial trial, (5) product revisions, (6) field trials, (7) final product revisions. Data analysis was carried out by employing qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The developed digital comic was validated by the expert and student responses, media expert. The validation result showed that the development of digital comics significantly met the criteria. The media expert scored was 95%, the material expert scored 82% valid, and the linguist expert assessed 85% valid. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the trials product was applied for an online class through Google Classroom at the Tenth grade of the Hospitality Department at SMKN 1 Tarakan. The product was looked for a positive response about 83% applicable. The validation and trial results indicated that the development of digital comics learning media had met the feasibility to be employed in the Indonesian language class, especially in anecdotal text material.
