Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks anekdot siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Nunukan dengan mengunakan Media video. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kelas (PK) dan jenis Penelitian ini bersfiat kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data berupa angka dan deskriptif untuk mendeskripsikan secata objektif sesuai dengan fakta yang terjadi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 2 Nunukan yang berjumlah 36 siswa. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumen yang dilakukan peneliti di sekolah tersebut. Hasil penelitian kemampuan menulis teks anekdot dengan menggunakan media video stand up comedy abdurrahim arsyad dapat disimpulkan perolehan presentase pencapaian setiap aspek memiliki kategori cukup baik. Hal ini dapat diketahui setelah melihat hasil setiap periduvidu dan peraspek yang dinilai seperti nilai keseluruhan siswa berjumlah 2060 sehingga nilai rata-ratanya 68,6. Adapun nilai peraspek seperti isi gagasan yang dikemukakan dengan nilai presentase 77,5%, aspek organisasi isi mendapatkan nilai presentase 66,6%, aspek tata bahasa mendapatkan nilai presentase 68,3%, aspek gaya pilihan dan struktur kata mendapatkan nilai presentase 68,3%, dan terakhir aspek ejaan dan tata tulis mendapatkan nilai presentase 62,5%. Adapun pencapaian nilai hasil rata-rata kelas 68,6% dengan Kreteria cukup dengan bobot (56-75) setelah dianalisis nilai ketuntasan siswa, terdapat 22 siswa yang tuntas dengan presentase 73,3% mencapai nilai KKM sedangkan 8 siswa belum tuntas mencapai presentase 26,6% tidak mencapai nilai KKM.

This study aimed at describing the ability to write anecdotal text of class X student of SMA Ngeri 2 Nunukan using video media. This study was a classroom action research (CAR) under the quantitative approach in which the data were presented in the form of numbers and were described objectively according to the facts occurred in the field. The subject of this study were the students of class X MIPA of SMA Negeri 2 Nunukan consisting of 36 students. The data were obtained from the results of testing, obsevation, interview, and documents. The results of the study on the ability to write anecdotal text using Abdurrahim Arsyad's stand-up comedy video, it was concluded that the percentage of achievement in each aspect had a fairly good category. The results of scores from each student and each aspect such as the total score students was 2,060 so that the mean score was 68.6. The mean scores in each aspect namely the content was 77.5, the organization was 66.6, the grammar was 68,3, the word choice and sentence structure was 68.3, and the spelling and writing layout was 62.5. The students' mean score of writing anecdotal text was 68.6 which was classified into fair category with score range (56-75). After analyzing the students' completeness scores, there were 22 (73.3%) students who achieved the KKM score and 8 (26.6%) students who did not achieve the KKM score
