Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis puisi dengan permainan roda keberuntungan sebagai media pembelajaran pada siswa kelas VIII-A MTs DDI Tarakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai tanggal 12 Desember 2018. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Kelas (PK), yaitu penelitian yang menuntut peneliti untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis puisi siswa dengan menggunakan media permainan roda keberuntungan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-A MTs DDI Tarakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada dua kali pertemuan. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari tes belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media roda keberuntungan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII-A MTs DDI Tarakan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata siswa kelas VIII-A belum mampu menulis puisi dengan baik. Berdasarkan pencapaian yang diperoleh untuk aspek pertama mendapat nilai 76 dengan pencapaian aspek kesesuaian judul dan isi, untuk aspek kedua mendapat nilai 70 dengan pencapaian aspek permajasan, untuk aspek ketiga mendapat nilai 62 dengan pencapaian aspek diksi, dan untuk aspek keempat mendapat nilai 39 dengan pencapaian aspek pencitraan. Berdasarkan nilai hasil ketuntasan kemampuan menulis puisi yang memperoleh nilai dengan rentang 80-100 terdapat 6 siswa dengan persentase 22% kategori baik sekali, siswa yang memperoleh rentang nilai 70-79 terdapat 4 siswa dengan persentase 15% kategori baik, siswa yang memperoleh rentang nilai 60-69 terdapat 3 siswa dengan persentase 11% kategori cukup, kategori kurang dengan rentang 40-59 diperoleh 9 siswa dengan persentase 33%, dan kategori gagal dengan rentang nilai 0-39 diperoleh 3 siswa dengan persentase 11%.

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to write poetry with the wheel of luck as a learning medium for students of class VIII-A MTs DDI Tarakan. This research was conducted from December 12, 2018. This research is a Class Research (PK), which is a study that requires researchers to know the ability to write poetry of students using the media of the wheel of fortune. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII-A MTs DDI Tarakan. This research was conducted at two meetings. The research data were obtained from student learning tests. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the media of the wheel of fortune to determine the ability of students and learning outcomes of students of class VIII-A MTs DDI Tarakan shows that the average grade VIII-A student has not been able to write poetry well. Based on the achievements obtained for the first aspect scored 76 with the achievement aspects of the suitability of the title and content, for the second aspect received a score of 70 with the achievement of the aspects of exposure, for the third aspect scored 62 with the achievement of the diction aspect, and for the fourth aspect the score was 39 with the achievement of the aspects imaging. Based on the completeness of the value of the ability to write poetry that scored 80-100 with a range of 6 students with a percentage of 22% excellent category, students who received a range of 7079 there were 4 students with a percentage of 15% good category, students who received a range of grades 60 -69 there are 3 students with a percentage of 11% enough categories, less categories with a range of 40-59 obtained 9 students with a percentage of 33%, and the category of failing with a range of grades 0-39 obtained 3 students with a percentage of 11%
