Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan silabus dan materi ajar bahsainggris TK kelas B berdasarkan kebutuhan dan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian dan pengembangan. Total siswa yang di minta untuk menjawab pertanyaan yang terdapat dalam kuisioner 23 orang siswa. Kemudian, seorang guru diwawancarai oleh peneliti untuk memperoleh informasi yang dibutuhkan sebagai dasar dalam pengajuan materi ajar BahasaInggris. Tahap perancangan materi ajar terdiri dari; melakukan tinjauan kebutuhan, penggunaan, model pengembangan materi ajar, membuat garis besa rmateri ajar, membuat aspek-aspek yang termasuk dalam materi ajar, validasi ahli, evaluasi dan revisi, dan uji coba perancangan materi ajar. Aspek-aspek materi ajar mencakup (1) unit; (2) indikator; (3) tujuan pembelajaran; (4) topik; (5) system penilaian; (6) sumber materi. Dalam membuat perancangan materi ajar Bahasa Inggris, seharusnya divalidasi oleh para ahli bahasa dan isi materi tersebut terlebih dahulu untuk melihat apakah materi ajar tersebut sudah sesuai untuk siswa TK Kelas B dari segi bahasa dan isi. Setelah melakukan evaluasi dan revisi berdasarkan validasi ahli, produk penelitian ini dilanjutkan dengan uji coba kepada siswa untuk melihat keefektifan siswa selama proses belajar mengajar dikelas. Berdasarkan metode penelitian, tujuan dan kegiatan pembelajaran bahas inggris yang dikembangkan bisa dilihat pada hasil kuesioner dan wawancara. Keterampilan tersebut mencakup memperbanyak kosa kata.Metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan adalah mengulang kata-kata yang diucapkan oleh guru. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah materi ajar Bahasa Inggris ajar yang telah di desain untuk TK Kelas B yang dilengkapi dengan gambar-gambar sesuai dengan tingkat siswa untuk menarik dan memotivasi mereka dalam mempelajari perancangan silabus dan materi ajar Bahasa Inggris ini.
The objective of this research was to development a proposed English syllabus and instructional materials for grade B kindergarten RA. Cordova in Tarakan based on needs and characteristic of students. The research design in this research was research was Research and Development the research design in this research was Research and Development (R&D) design. The number of students who were asked to answer the questionnaire was 23 students. Then, an English language teacher was interviewed by the researcher to acquire the information that was needed as a base in proposing English instructional material. There were some stages in designing the instructional material. They were need survey, instructional material development, production of instructional material outline, production of instructional material aspects, expert validation, evaluation and revision, and try-out of the proposed instructional material. The aspects of proposed instructional material consisted of (1) unit; (2) indicator; (3) instructional objectives; (4) topic; (5) assessment system; and (6) the sources of material. In proposing this English instructional material, it should be validated by the experts to check whether the language used and the contents were suitable for the sixth grade students. Evaluation and revision based on the experts and then, this product was conducted to be tried out to check the effectiveness of teaching and learning process in the classroom. Based on the research method, the purposes and activities in learning English were related to English skills which have to be developed that showed by the results of questionnaire and interview. The activities of English skills covers listening the conversation, having discussion and presentation, questions and answers, write a complete sentence with the suitable pattern of sentence. The teaching methods that have to be implemented were having group discussion and presentation. The result of this research was a set of English Syllabus And instructional material for Grade B Kindergarten RA.Cordova in which have more pictures were involved that related to the students level to make them interest and have motivation in learning this proposed English syllabus and instructional material.
