Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sumber belajar siswa berupa modul pembelajaran Biologi berbasis Problem Based Learning materi perubahan lingkungan/iklim dan daur ulang limbah dikelas X SMA. Karakteristik modul ini menggunakan artikel berbasis masalah nyata yang ada diwilayah Kota Tarakan dengan menggunakan kurikulum 2013 dan rata-rata gambar yang digunakan merupakan gambar yang berasal dari wilayah Kalimantan Utara, pada modul terdapat tiga kegiatan pembelajaran dan 93 halaman. Modul berbasis Problem Based Learning ini diharapkan mampu untuk memenuhi aspek layak, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Reseach and Development (R&D) dengan mangacu pada model pengembangan Borg and Gall (1989). Pelaksanaan penelitian terdapat empat tahap yaitu: 1) analisis produk; 2) mengembangkan produk awal; 3) validasi dan revisi; 4) uji coba lapangan skala kecil dan revisi produk.Hasil penelitian ini berupa modul pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk kelas X SMA pada materi Perubahan Lingkungan/Iklim dan Daur Ulang Limbah. Modul pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning dikembangkan untuk memenuhi aspek kevalidan yang dihitung oleh tiga ahli yaitu ahli materi 88,6% (sangat layak), ahli media 80% (layak), ahli praktisi 93% (sangat layak). Dan kepraktisan diukur dengan dua aspek, yaitu keterpakain modul 3,6, keterbacaan modul 86% sehingga dapat digunakan secara langsung tanpa revisi. Untuk kefektifan diukur dengan respon siswa mendapatkan rata-rata 75% dan tes hasil belajar siswa 87% sehingga memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan maksimal dengan menggunakan modul berbasis Problem Based Learning.



This study was aimed to develop the students’ learning source in form of a biology learning module based on Problem Based Learning with the material about the changing of environment/climate and the recycle of waste in grade X of SMA. This module uses the characteristics of the article based real problems that exist in the region in Tarakan using the curriculum in 2013 and the average image used is an image that comes from the territory of North Borneo, on the module there are three learning activities and 93 pages. Problem Based Learning-based module is expected to be able to fulfill the worthy aspects, practical, and effective. The kind of this research was Research and Development (R&D) which referred to Borg and Gall’s development model. The research was conducted in four phases, namely: 1) product analysis; 2) the development of initial product; 3) validation and revision; 4) field test in small scale and product revision. The result of this research was a learning module based on Problem Based Learning for grade X of SMA on the material about The Changing of Environment/Climate and the Recycle of Waste. The learning module which was based on Problem Based Learning was developed to fulfil the aspect of validity that was counted by three worthiness, namely material expert 88,6% (very appropriate), media expert 80% (appropriate), practitioner expert 93% (very appropriate). And the practicability was measured in two aspects, namely module usefulness 3,6, module legibility 86% so that it can be used directly without revision. For the effectiveness was measured with the students’ responses which obtained the average of 75% and the students’ learning result test 87% so that it fulfilled the maximum completeness criterion by using a module which was based on Problem Based Learning.
