Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan Februari 2014 di SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan populasi siswa kelas VII dan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS 16.0 for Window. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Independent sample t-test. Hasil analisis uji Independent sample t-test terhadap pembelajaran dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning) dengan pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari hasil belajar biologi diperoleh ttabel 4,740 (Tabel 4.5) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan dk= 68 diperoleh nilai thitung 1,671 berarti thitung > ttabel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran biologi dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual (Contextual Teaching and Learning) terhadap hasil belajar siswa di kelas VII SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of learning with contextual approach to biology students learning outcomes. This study was conducted from February 2014 in the Junior High School 7 Tarakan. This research is a quasi-experiment with a class VII student population and a much as 2 sample class. Cluster sampling technique using random sampling. Data were analyzed using SPSS 16.0 software for Window . Analysis using Independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis of independent sample t-test to test learning with contextual approach (Contextual Teaching and learning) with conventional learning in terms of learning outcomes obtained biology t arithematic 4,740 at the 0,05 significance level and df = 68 values obtained t tabel 1,671 means t arithematic > t table. Based on the analysis of data it can be concluded that there are significant biological application of learnimg with contextual approach (Contextual Teaching and Learning) on learning outcomes of students in class VII of SMP Negeri 7 Tarakan.
