Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) dan mendiskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa untuk setiap indikator dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IX PSU Integrated School – High School Bayambang Filipina. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan soal uraian Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX PSU Integrated School – High School Bayambang Filipina dan teknik sampel yang digunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa PSU Integrated School – High School Bayambang Filipina dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS, yaitu aspek originality pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematika siswa tergolong sedang, dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 66.29; aspek fluency tergolong rendah, dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 57.14; aspek flexybility tergolong sedang dengan rata-rata skor 68.97; aspek elaboration tergolong rendah dengan rata-rata skor 62.05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS masih rendah yaitu dengan skor 63.62.

This study aims to describe the level of students 'mathematical creative thinking skills in solving Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) questions and to describe students' mathematical creative thinking abilities for each indicator using a quantitative approach. This research was conducted on students of class IX PSU Integrated School - High School Bayambang Philippines. The data collection method used the Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) description questions. The population and sample in this study were all students of class IX PSU Integrated School - Bayambang High School Philippines and the sample technique used was saturated sampling technique. The results showed that the level of mathematical creative thinking ability of students of the Integrated School - High School Bayambang Philippines PSU students in solving HOTS questions, namely the originality aspect of students' mathematical creative thinking abilities was moderate, with an average score of 66.29; the fluency aspect is classified as low, with an average score of 57.14; the flexybility aspect is classified as moderate with an average score of 68.97; the elaboration aspect is low with an average score of 62.05. Thus it can be concluded that the level of mathematical creative thinking skills of students in solving HOTS questions is still low with a score of 63.62.
