Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA ranah kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan Januari 2016 di SMPN 4 Tarakan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan populasi siswa kelas VII dan sampel sebanyak 2 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Data di analisis menggunakan software SPSS 22.0 for Window. Teknik analisis data menggunakn uji-T. Hasil analisis pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa ranah pengetahuan berdasarkan Tes Pilihan ganda (Pretest dan Posttest) nilai thitung 3,290 > ttable 1,669. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terdapat pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPA kelas VII SMPN 4 Tarakan.
The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of using Problem Based learning model towards the students’ This research was conducted on januari 2016 at SMPN 4 Tarakan. This research was Quasi-Experimental research design, the population of this research was all of students in class VII and the sample was 2 classes. The sample was taken by using Purposive sampling. The data was analyzed by using SPSS 22.0 for windows. The technique of analyses data was used t-test. The analyses result of the influence of using Problem Based learning model towards the students’ outcomes IPA. The research of this research showed that there was significant effect of using Problem Based learning model using towards’ science learning result based on multiple choice test (pretest and posttest) t-value 3,290 > t-table 1,699 so that, in colucion the effect of using problem based learning model found the effect towards science learning result grade VII SMP 4 Tarakan. It can be concluded that, there was an influence of using Problem Based learning model towards the students’ outcomes IPA of SMPN 4 Tarakan.
