
Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran IPA Berbasis Problem Based Learning Pada Materi Ciri-Ciri Makhluk Hidup Untuk Siswa Kelas VII SMPIT Ulul Albab Tarakan

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas perangkat pembelajaran IPA berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup berdasarkan aspek kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Prosedur pengembangan yang dilakukan merupakan adaptasi tahap-tahap pengembangan Four-D, yaitu design, define, develop, dan dessiminate. Namun tahap dessiminate tidak dilakukan karena dalam penelitian ini hanya melakukan uji coba satu kali sedangkan untuk tahap penyebaran dilakukan uji coba berulang-ulang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa silabus, lembar kegiatan siswa (LKS), rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), tes hasil belajar (THB), angket keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian ini berupa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup untuk siswa kelas VII SMP yang berupa Silabus, RPP dan LKS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas produk yang dihasilkan berdasarkan aspek kevalidan silabus diperoleh nilai persentase 89% dengan kriteria sangat valid, RPP dengan persentase 88% dengan kriteria sangat valid, dan LKS dengan persentase kevalidan 87% dengan kategori sangat valid. Aspek kepraktisan berdasarkan hasil penilaian observer diperoleh persentase 93% dengan kategori terlaksana seluruhnya dan berdasarkan penilaian siswa sebanyak 86% siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL). Sementara itu, untuk aspek keefektifan berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) menunjukkan sebanyak 85% siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM=70).
This research aims to determine the quality of problem based learning devices of science on living organisms material based on the aspect of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The design of this research is research and development (R&D). The Development procedures which is done in this research is adapted from Four-D model, namely design, define, develop, and disseminate. However, the disseminate stage is omitted in this research because the try out is only done once while it requires more than one try out before the dissemination stage is conducted. The research Instruments that used in this research are syllabus, student worksheet, lesson plan, test, questionnaires of implementation of learning device and students’ responses.. The results of this research are problem based learning devices of science on living organisms characteristics material for grade VII at SMPIT Ulul Albab Tarakan which are syllabus, lesson plan and student worksheet. The research findings showed the quality of products on the aspect of validity for syllabus is 89% and categorized into extremely valid criteria, lesson plan is 88% and categorized into extremely valid criteria and student worksheet is 87% and also categorized into extremely valid criteria. The Practicality aspect based on the assessment results obtained from the observer is 93% with category entirely-implemented and based on the assessment of students, 86% of the student give positive responses towards the problem based learning devices. Meanwhile, the aspects of effectiveness based on the student learning outcomes after using problem based learning devices showed 85% of students reached the minimum passing grade criteria (KKM=70).
