
Pengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran Inquiring Minds Want To Know Terhadap Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan

Abstract
Jenis penelitian ini adalah One Group Pretest Post Test Design dengan dengan populasi siswa kelas VII dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 1 kelas. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes pilihan ganda, tes uraian, dan lembar observasi. Data tes dan observasi dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji-Z dari T-Test Paired Sample Test. Analisis data hasil belajar diperoleh hasil analisis yang menunjukan bahwa Zhitung (-5.981) lebih kecil dari probabilitas (? = 0.05) . Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh strategi pembelajaran dengan Inquiring Minds Want To Know terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan.
Learning outcomes in this study using achievement test to inquiring minds want to know outcomes used in this study include the skills of observing, interpreting observations, applying the concept, planning experiments, and hypothesize. This study was conducted in April-May 2015 at SMP 9 Tarakan. This study is a kind of pre-experimental research with the class VII student population and the sample taken from 1 classes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a multiple-choice test techniques, test description, and the observation sheet. Tests and observation data were analyzed using SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Mechanical analysis using Z test of T-Test Paired Sample Test. The data analysis of learning outcomes obtained results of the analysis showed that Z results (- 5.981) is smaller than the probability (? = 0.05). It shows that there is not a learning effect with starter experimental approach to the learning outcomes and science process skills class VII SMP 9 Tarakan.
