Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share Terhadap Keaktifan dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan. Penilitian ini dilakukan selama bulan Juni 2016 di SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017, dan sampel yaitu kelas X-e sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-g sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive sampling dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, tes dan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan software SPSS 22.0 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share Terhadap Keaktifan dan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan.

This study was aimed to find out the effect of Think Pair Share teaching model on student’s activities and learning outcomes of tenth graders at SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan. This research was conducted on June 2016 at SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan. This is quasi experimental study and the population for this study was all tenth graders at SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan who was on the first semester of 2016/2017. The sample for this research was students at X-e that was the experimental class and students at X-g as the control class. The research used purposive sampling as the sampling technique and the data was collected using documentation, test, and observation. The data then analyzed using SPSS 22.0 for windows. The result showed that there was an effect on the implementation of Think Pair Share teaching model on student’s activities and learning outcomes of tenth graders at SMA Negeri 3 Tarakan.
