Abstract
Media pembelajaran merupakan sarana penyampaian isi pembelajaran kepada siswa. Penggunaan media dapat menarik minat siswa dalam pembelajaran. meningkatkan motivasi dan mempermudahkan pemahaman materi. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media video pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual yang layak dan menarik. kelayakan ditinjau dari hasil validasi ahli materi, hasil ahli media dan hasil ahli bahasa. kemenarikan ditinjau dari hasil respon siswa. penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan alur model ADDIE. Model ADDIE terdiri 5 tahapan yakni analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi dan angket respon siswa. penelitian ini dilakukan dikelas IV SDN 006 Tarakan. hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh sebesar 80%, termasuk kategori layak, ahli media diperoleh sebesar 88,33%, termasuk kategori sangat layak, ahli bahasa diperoleh sebesar 83,13% termasuk kategori sangat layak. hasil respon siswa uji coba terbatas diperoleh sebesar 82,54%, termasuk kategori sangat menarik, dan hasil uji coba lapangan diperoleh sebesar 89,72%, termasuk kategori sangat menarik. berdasarkan hasil validasi materi, media dan bahasa, serta angket respon siswa pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan maka video pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual dinyatakan layak dan menarik digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Learning media server as a crucial tool for delivering educational content to students. the effective use of media can enhance student interest in learning, boost motivation, and facilitate comprehension of subject matter. this study aims to develop a learning video media using a contextual approach that is both feasible and engaging feasibility was assessed based on validation results from subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts. engagement was evaluated through student response data. this study employs a research and development (R&D) methodology following the ADDIE model, which consists of five phases: analisis,design, development, implementation,and evaluation. data collection instruments included validation sheets and student response questionnaires. the study was conducted in class IV C at SDN 006 Tarakan. the validation results from subject matter experts yielded an 80% score, categorized as"feasible"media experts provided an 88,33% score, falling into the "very feasible"category, and language experts gave an 83.13% score, also deemed"very feasible"student responses from the limited trial showed an 82.54% score, categorized as very engaging while field trial student responses reached 89,72%, also considered very engaging based on the validation results for material, media,and language as well as student responses questionnaires from both limited and field trials, the learning video developed with a contextual approach is declared feasible and engaging for use in the learning process keywords: Learning video, contextual, addie, research and development
