ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa papan susun berbantuan flash card membaca yang dirancang untuk membantu siswa yang mengalami kesulitan membaca di kelas III-A SDN 032 Tarakan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca siswa serta kurangnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahap, yaitu: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III-A SDN 032 Tarakan. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket validasi, angket respons siswa, dan tes kemampuan membaca. Hasil validasi dari ahli media, ahli bahasa, dan ahli materi masing-masing menunjukkan persentase sebesar 96%, 94%, dan 88%, yang dikategorikan sangat layak. Respons siswa pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan juga menunjukkan tingkat kemenarikan yang tinggi, dengan persentase masing-masing sebesar 96% dan 87,8%. Efektivitas media diuji melalui analisis N-Gain berdasarkan tes sebelum pembelajaran (pre-test) dan tes setelah pembelajaran (post-test), yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa secara signifikan dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 0,82, yang dikategorikan tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, media papan susun berbantuan flash card membaca dinyatakan layak, menarik, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca di kelas III sekolah dasar.

DEVELOPING THE LEARNING MEDIA OF READING STACKING BOARD FOR STUDENTS AT GRADE III OF SDN 032 TARAKAN Abstract This research aimed to develop a learning media in the form of a Reading Stacking Board designed to assist students who have difficulties in reading in class III-A of SDN 032 Tarakan. This research was motivated by the low reading ability of students and the lack of engaging and interactive learning media. The method used research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model which includes five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The subjects of the research are the students of class III-A at SDN 032 Tarakan. Data collection instruments include validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and reading ability tests. The validation results from media experts, language experts, and material experts show percentages of 96%, 94%, and 88%, respectively, which are categorized as very feasible. Students' responses in limited trials and field trials also showed a high level of interest, with percentages of 96% and 87.8% respectively. The effectiveness of media was tested through N-Gain analysis based on pre-learning tests (pre-tests) and post-learning tests (post-tests), which showed a significant improvement in students' reading abilities with an average score of 0.82, categorized as high. Based on these results, the reading stacking board media is declared suitable, interesting, and effective for use in reading instruction in the third grade of elementary school.
