Masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh petani kelapa sawit adalah terjadinya fluktuasi harga kelapa sawit. Fluktuasi harga pada dasarnya terjadi akibat ketidakseimbangan antara kuantitas pasokan dan kuantitas permintaan yang dibutuhkan konsumen, jika terjadi kelebihan pasokan maka harga komoditas menurun sebaliknya begitu juga jika terjadi kekurangan pasokan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi fluktuasi harga kelapa sawit di Kecamatan Sebatik Utara, Kabupaten Nunukan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terhadap 60 petani kelapa sawit, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel permintaan, biaya produksi, dan biaya operasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap fluktuasi harga kelapa sawit, baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 28% menunjukkan bahwa ketiga faktor tersebut menjelaskan sebagian variasi harga, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengambilan kebijakan harga dan peningkatan kesejahteraan petani.

The fluctuation of oil palm prices is a common issue for oil palm growers. The main cause of price changes is an imbalance between the amount of supply and the amount of demand that customers require; if there is an excess supply, the commodity’s price falls, and if there is a shortage, the price rises. The purpose of this study was to examine the variables that affected oil palm price fluctuations in Sebatik Utara District, Nunukan Regency. Sixty oil palm farmers completed questionnaires to provide data, which were subsequently subjected to multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables of demand, production costs, and operational costs had a significant effect on the fluctuation of oil palm prices, both simultaneously and partially. The coefficient of determination value of 28% indicated that the three factors explained some of the price variations, while the rest was influenced by other factors outside this study. This study is expected to be a reference in making price policies and improving farmer welfare. Keywords: Price Fluctuation, Palm Oil
