Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, mengetahui respon siswa dan respon guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran Borg & Gall sampai pada tahap ketujuh. Langkah-langkah pengembangannya adalah 1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi awal; 2) perencanaan; 3) pengembangan produk awal; 4) uji coba lapangan utama; 5) revisi produk utama; 6) uji coba lapangan; 7) revisi produk oprasional. Media pembelajaran Monopoli Game Smart (MGS) divalidasi oleh ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli praktisi. Uji coba produk dilakukan sebanyak dua kali yaitu uji coba lapangan awal yang melibatkan 8 siswa di kelas IX dan uji coba lapangan utama yang melibatkan 31 siswa di kelas VIII. Hasil validasi ahli materi sebesar 75% (layak), ahli media sebesar 79,40% (layak), dan ahli praktisi sebesar 93,10% (sangat layak). Hasil angket respon siswa pada uji coba lapangan awal sebesar 84,69% (sangat layak) uji coba lapangan utama sebesar 90,40% (sangat layak) dan hasil angket respon guru sebesar 87,50% (sangat layak). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan media pembelajar Monopoli Game Smart (MGS) tervalidasi layak.

The purpose of this research was to know the properness, students’ respon and teachers’ respon. This research used Borg & Gall learning model until the seventh step. The development steps were 1) research and collecting preliminary information; 2) planning; 3) development preliminary product; 4) main field testing; 5) main product revision; 6) main field testing; 7) operational product revision. The Monopoly Game Smart (MGS) learning media were validated by material expert, media expert, and practioptioner expert. The field test was conducted twice, there were preliminary field testing with 8 students at ninth grade, and main field testing with 31 students at eight grade. The validation results of material expert was 75% (appropriate), media expert was 79,40% (appropriate), and practioptioner expert was 90,40% (very appropriate). The results of evaluation questioner for students in main field test were 90,40% (very appropriate) and results of evaluation questioner for teachers were 87,50% (very appropriate). The conclusion of Monopoly Game Smart (MGS) learning model is validated as viable.
