Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT berbantu media rolling question terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2015/2016 di SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI IPS SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan. Pengambilan sampel mengunakan sampel jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPS-1 dan XI IPS-2. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar matematika. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Analisis deskriptif meliputi rata rata hitung dan simpangan baku. Analisis inferensial menggunakan uji asumsi dan uji hipotesis.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TGT (Teams Games Tournament) berbantu media rolling question tidak berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada kelas XI IPS SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan dengan nilai p-value 0,474.

The objective of this research was to know whether there is any influence of the use of Cooperative Learning Type TGT with Helping Media of Rolling Question towards students’ mathematic learning achievement at the eleventh grade of SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan. This research was conducted on the even semester in academic year 2015/2016 at SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan. The research design used in this research was experiment. The population of this research was the entire eleventh grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan. The samples were taken by using sampel jenuh. The samples in this research were the students in XI IPS-1 and XI IPS-2. The data collecting was done by using mathematic learning achievement test. Data analyzing technique used were descriptive analysis and inferential. Descriptive analysis included mean and standard deviation. Inferential analysis used assumption test and hypothesis test. Based on the analysis achievement with 5% of significance level, it can be concluded that cooperative learning type TGT (Teams Games Tournament) with Helping Media rolling question did not give any influence towards the students’ mathematic learning achievement at the eleventh grade of SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan with p-value 0,474.
