Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Tarakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 03 Agustus – 03 September 2016 di SMP Negeri 4 Tarakan.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi exsperimental research dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Tarakan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-8 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII-7 sebagai kelas kontrol, Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan uji independent sample t-test dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 16.0 for windows.
Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 76,75 dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas kontrol adalah 67,78. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis uji independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikan 5% (a = 0,05) diperoleh p value sebesar 0,000. Sehingga dapat dilihat bahwa 0,000 < 0,05. Dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Reciprocal Teaching berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Tarakan.

The objective of this research is to find out the effects of Reciprocal Teaching learning model to the result of study mathematic at the eight grade students of SMPN 4 Tarakan. The research held on 03 August – 03 September 2016 at SMPN 4 Tarakan. The type of this research is a Quasi Experimental by pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research is all of the eight grade classes of SMPN 4 Tarakan. The sample of this research is VIII-8 as experiment class and VIII-7 as control class. The sample of this research was taken by using simple random sampling technique. The technique of data collection at this research is using test. The data analysis use descriptive and inferensial analysis with independent sample t-test assisted by software SPSS version 16.0 for windows. The result of descriptive analysis refer to mean of the result of study mathematic at experiment class is 76,75 and mean of the result of study mathematic at control class is 67,78. Based on the result of independent sample t-test analysis with 5% of significant level (a = 0,05) obtained p-value is 0,000. Therefore it can be seen that 0,000 < 0.05. It means H0 rejected and H1 accepted, it can be concluded Reciprocal Teaching learning model effect on the result of study mathematic student the eight grade classes of SMPN 4 Tarakan.
