Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester genap tahun 2015/2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Tarakan Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Tarakan. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling yang terbagi dalam dua kelas yaitu kelas VII-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji statistic independent sample t-test dengan bantuan SPSS 22.0 for windows.
Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan rata-rata nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen adalah 70,73 dan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol adalah 62,59. Sedangkan hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai thitung > ttabel yaitu sebesar 2,677 > 1,99834 sehingga Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajara STAD berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Tarakan Tahun Pembelajaran 2015/2016.

This recearch was conducted in the second semester of academic year 2015/2016. The recearch aimed to determine the effect of learning STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) on Student’s Mathematics Learning Outcomes Class VII SMp negeri 10 Tarakan. This research is a quasi experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research was all of students in class VII SMP Negeri 10 Tarakan. The samples was taken by simple random sampling technique is divided ino two classes VII-1 as ane expriment class and class VII-2 as a class control. Data analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and statistical tests independent sample t-test by using SPSS 22.0 for windows. Descriptive analysis showed the average value of posttest in the experiment class was 70,73 adn the average value of the control class is 62,59. While the results of the t test showed tcount > ttable that is equal to 2,677 > 1,99834 so Ha received. It can be concluded that the learning model STAD influence on mathematics learning outcomes of students of class VII SMP Negeri Tarakan in academic year 2015 / 2016.
