Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 20 Berau Kecamatan Tabalar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 di SMP Negeri 20 Berau.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII SMP Negeri 20 Berau. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara Sampling Jenuh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII-A dan VII-B. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Analisis deskriptif meliputi rata-rata hitung dan simpangan baku. Analisis inferensial menggunakan analisis independent sample t-test.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Discovery Learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan uji pengaruh dengan nilai dan uji beda rata-rata dua kelas sesudah diberikan perlakuan diperoleh nilai.

This research was purposed to find out the influence of the discovery learning model toward mathematic learning result of seventh grade students’ in SMP N 20 Berau Kecamatan Tabalar. This research was done in second semester in academic year 2015/2016 in SMP N 20 Berau Kecamatan Tabalar. The method of the research that used in this research was quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group designas the research design. The population in this research were all of Seventh grade class of SMP N 20 Berau. The sample collection was done by surfeited sampling. The sample in this research were VII A and VII-B. The data collection was taken by using the result of students’ learning test. The data analysis technic was using descriptive analysis and inferential. The descriptive analysis included the counting of average and deviation. The inferential analysis was using independent sample t-test analysis. Based on the analysis result by 5% significance of degree, so it concluded that the discovery learning model is influenced the students’ learning result based on the influence test byscore ofTcount= 3,024 Ttable = 1,688.
