
Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) Terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Kelas XI-IPS Di SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Siswa Kelas XI-IPS di SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan. Pengambilan data penelitian dilaksanakan sejak tanggal 14 april sampai 26 April 2016 di SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan desain penelitian posttes-only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI-IPS SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 68 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling. Sehingga diperoleh kelas XI-IPS.1 sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 35 siswa dan kelas XI-IPS.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 33 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial yaitu uji t satu pihak (pihak kanan) dengan bantuan software SPSS 21 for Windows.
Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas XI-IPS di SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai thitung uji t satu pihak (pihak kanan) sebesar 5,757 dan nilai ttabel sebesar 1,99.

The research aim is to determine the influence of Problem Based Learning toward the Students of Class XI-IPS in SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan problem solving ability. The research data was collected from 14 April to 26 April 2016 at SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan. This type of research is quasi experiment with posttest-only control group design. The research population were all students of class XI-IPS SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan on 2015/2016 academic year with the total of 68 students. The sample was selected using Simple Random Sampling, so that student of class XI-IPS.1 were the control class with 35 students and students of class XI-IPS.2 were the experiment class with 33 students. The analysis data which use to analyse the research result is descriptive statistic and inferential statistic is t-test one party (the party right) was support by software SPSS 21 version for Windows. The analysis results indicate that there is significant influence of Problem Based Learning towards the Students of class XI-IPS in SMA Muhammadiyah Tarakan problem-solving ability. It can be seen from the value of t-test one party (the party right) amounting to 5.757 and t table value of 1.99. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Problem-Solving Ability
