Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan siswa dengan media papan bergaris kelas II di SD Alam Binari Tarakan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas II di SD Alam Binari Tarakan yang berjumlah 6 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalan 2 siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 pertemuan. Pada penelitian ini memperoleh sejumlah data, yaitu lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa dan mengajar guru, hasil tes siswa pada aspek afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorik. Meningkatkanya keterampilan menulis siswa ini dapat dilihat dari hasil rata- rata siswa yang diperoleh setiap siklus dengan indikator kerberhasilah yaitu >70. Pada siklus 1, rata- rata hasil pengamatan aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 62. Rata- rata hasil pengamatan aktivitas mengajar guru sebesar 49. Rata- rata hasil tes aspek afektif sebesar 62. Rata- rata hasil tes aspek psikomotorik sebesar 74. Rata- rata hasil tes aspek kognitif sebesar 80. Selanjutnya pada siklus 2, rata- rata hasil pengamatan aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat menjadi 88. Rata- rata hasil pengamatan aktivitas mengajar guru meningkat menjadi 92. Rata- rata hasil tes aspek afektif meningkat menjadi 90. Rata- rata hasil tes aspek psikomotorik meningkat menjadi 96. Rata- rata hasil tes aspek kognitif meningkat menjadi 90. Bedasarkan rata-rata hasil pengamatan dan tes yang telah mencapai indikator, sehinggaa penelitian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil.

The purpose of the research was to improve the students' foundational writing skill by using striped board media in class II at SD Alam Binari Tarakan. The research subjects were second-grade students at SD Alam Binari Tarakan, with a total of six students participating. The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of 4 meetings. The research obtained a number of data, namely observation sheets of student learning activities and teacher teaching, as well as student test results on affective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects. The improvement of students' writing skills is evidenced by the mean scores of students across each cycle of the research with an indicator of success >70%. In cycle 1, the mean observation of student learning activities was 62. The mean score for the observation of teaching activities conducted by the teacher was 49. The mean test score for the affective aspect was 62. The mean score on the psychomotor aspect was 74. The mean score on the cognitive aspect of the test was 80. Furthermore, in cycle 2, the mean observation of student learning activities increasingly was 88. The mean score for the observation of teaching activities conducted by the teacher increasingly was 92. The mean test score for the affective aspect increasingly was 90. The mean score on the psychomotor aspect increasingly was 96 The mean score on the cognitive aspect of the test increasingly was 90. Based on the average results of observations and tests that have reached the indicators, so that this research can be said to be successful. Keywords: Foundational Writing Skill, Striped Board Media
