Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media kartu membaca suku kata yang layak dan menarik bagi siswa kelas I di SD/MI Dhaud Khalifatulloh Tarakan. Kelayakan media kartu membaca suku kata di tinjau dari validasi ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli bahasa, serta keterarikan di tinjau dari angket respon siswa. Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahapan penelitian yaitu: Analysis (analisis), Design (Desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), Evaluation (Evaluasi). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu: lembar validasi, dan angket ketertarikan siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas I SD MI Daud Khalifatulloh Tarakan. Hasil validasi yang di peroleh dari ahli materi sebesar 76,66%, ahli media sebesar 87,5% dan ahli bahasa sebesar 77,14%. Hasil dari angket respon siswa pada uji coba terbatas sebesar 76% dan hasil uji lapangan sebesar 83,72% dengan kategori sangat menarik. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa, respon siswa pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan maka, media kartu membaca suku kata dinyatakan layak dan menarik di gunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Dengan media kartu membaca suku kata dapat membantu mempercepat proses pembelajaran bagi siswa dalam memahami konsep bahasa dan suku kata dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran membaca di SD MI Daud Kholifatulloh Tarakan.

This research aimed to develop a feasible and attractive syllable reading card media for grade I students at SD/MI Dhaud Khalifatulloh Tarakan. The feasibility of the syllabic reading card media was reviewed from the validation of material experts, media experts and linguists, and the interest of students was reviewed from the student response questionnaire. The type of research used research and development (R&D). The development model used refers to the development model of ADDIE which consists of five stages, namely: Analysis, Design,Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection instruments used validation sheets, and student interest questionnaires. This research was conducted in grade I of SD MI Daud Khalifatulloh Tarakan. The validation results obtained from material experts were 76.66%, media experts were 87.5% and linguists were 77.14%. Results of the student response questionnaire on limited trials was 76% and field test results of 83.72% with very interesting categories.Based on the results of the validation of material experts, media experts,and linguists, the students' responses to the limited trial and field trial, then, the syllabic reading card media was declared feasible and interesting to be used in the learning process. With the media of reading syllable cards, it can help speed up the learning process for students in understanding the concept of language and syllables in improving their ability in learning reading. This learning media is one of the innovations in the field of education as a means of learning for students. By the existence of media, the process of teaching and learning activities will be increasingly beneficial at SD MI Daud Kholifatulloh Tarakan.
