Abstract
Kepiting bakau merupakan salah satu komoditas perikanan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis penting dan merupakan komoditi yang potensial di Provinsi Kalimantan Utara. Pengembangan budi daya kepiting bakau masih terus dilakukan salah satunya adalah penelitian tentang penggunaan subtract untuk merangsang percepatan matang ovari induk betina kepiting bakau. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami dampak dari substrat yang berbeda terhadap percepatan kematangan ovari kepiting bakau (Scylla sp). Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan antara lain; 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan dan penyuntikan formula oil crab dengan dosis ( 0,2 ml/ekor). Perlakuan A Tanpa Substrat, Perlakuan B Substrat Pasir dan perlakuan C Substrat Lumpur. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat diperoleh data bahwa pada perlakuan B subtract pasir lebih cepat matang ovari dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Proses reproduksi kepiting bakau dapat distimulasi menggunakan hormon oil crab, yang secara signifikasi yang berpengaruh Berdasarkan uji sidik ragam (ANOVA) menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan berat badan mutlak kepiting bakau selama pemeliharaan kurang lebih (40 hari) dengan masing-masing perlakuan memberikan hasil yang tidak berbeda nyata (F > 0.05). Data kualitas air selama penelitian menunjukkan suhu berkisar 26-30C, salinitas 22-30 ppt, DO 5.7-6.7 mg/l, pH 7.8-8.5 dan ammonia 0.08-0.13 mg/l.

Mud crab is a fishery commodity that has important economic value and is a potential commodity in North Kalimantan Province. Development of mud crab cultivation is still being carried out, one of which is research on the use of subtracts to stimulate the accelerated maturation of the ovaries of female mud crab mothers. The purpose of this study was to understand the impact of different substrates on accelerating the maturity of mud crab (Scylla sp) ovaries. This study uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with treatments including; 3 treatments and 5 repetitions and injection of oil crab formula at a dose (0.2 ml/head). Treatme givennt without substrate, treatment B with sand substrate and treatment C with mud substrate. The results of this research, data can be obtained that in treatment B, the sand subtract matures faster than the ovaries compared to other treatments. The reproduction process of mud crabs can be stimulated using the oil crab hormone, which has a significant effect. The results of the variance analysis test (ANOVA), indicated that the absolute body weight growth of mud crabs during maintenance is approximately (40 days) with each treatment giving results that are not significantly different. (F > 0.05). Water quality data during the research showed temperatures ranging from 26-30 oC, salinity 22-30 ppt, DO 5.7-6.7 mg/l, pH 7.8-8.5 and ammonia 0.08-0.13 mg/l.
