Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebiasaan belajar dan motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Ex Post Facto. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan sebanyak 152 orang siswa yang diambil dengan teknik Simpel Random Sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan kuesioner, dianalisis dengan Uji Rank Spearman. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa: (1) Tidak terdapat pengaruh antara kebiasaan belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan. Dengan persamaan nilai signifikansi 0,777 > 0,05 (2) Tidak terdapat pengaruh antara motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan. Dengan persamaan signifikansi sebesar 0,226 > 0,05.

This research aims to determine the influence of study habits and motivation to learn mathematics in class IX students at SMPN 5 Tarakan for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is research Ex Post Facto. The research sample was 152 students in class IX of SMPN 5 Tarakan, taken using Simple Random Sampling techniques. Research data was obtained using documentation and questionnaire techniques, and analyzed using the Spearman Rank Test. The results of data analysis show that: (1) There is no influence between study habits on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students at SMPN 5 Tarakan. The equal significance value of 0.777 > 0.05 (2) there is no influence between learning motivation on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students at SMPN 5 Tarakan.
