
Pengembangan Buku Cerita Pendek Sebagai Sumber Belajar Kelas XI Di SMA Muhammadiyah Boarding School Tarakan

Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang telah dibatasi dengan tidak melakukan kegiatan penerbitan buku secara besar-besaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk buku cerita pendek sebagai sumber belajar yang menarik dan meningkatkan minat baca siswa serta mendeskripsikan penggunaan buku cerita pendek sebagai sumber belajar berdasarkan kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifannya. Instrumen penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan lembar wawancara guru, angket validasi ahli, dan angket respon guru serta siswa yang pada setiap angket memiliki 10 aspek penilaian. Hasil penelitian dari validasi penyajian buku cerita pendek sebagai sumber belajar melalui angket oleh ahli materi mencapai persentase 75% dengan kualifikasi layak, oleh ahli bahasa mencapai persentase 95% dengan kualifikasi sangat layak dan oleh ahli media mencapai persentase 73% dengan kualifikasi layak. Hasil angket respon guru terhadap buku cerita pendek sebagai sumber belajar mempunyai nilai persentase sebesar 75% dengan kualifikasi praktis dan angket respon siswa memiliki persentase sebesar 88% yang dikualifikasikan sangat efektif. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah Boarding School Tarakan. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan buku cerita pendek sebagai sumber belajar layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia khususnya pembelajaran cerita pendek di kelas XI.

This study represents Research and Development that has been constrained by the absence of extensive book publishing operations. The purpose of this research was to provide engaging learning resources for students by using short tale books, and to describe the usage of short story books as a learning tool based on its viabillity, usefuless, and efficacy. Teacher interview sheets, expert validation questionnaires, and teacher and student response questionnaires each with ten evaluation aspects were used in this research and development tool. The Study's validation of the use of short story books as a teaching tool was conducted through the administration of questionnaires by material expert, who reported 75% of respondents had decent qualifications, language experts reported 95% had very decent qualifications, and media experts reported 73% had decent qualifications. When using short tale books as learning resources, the teacher answer questionnaire yielded a percentage value of 75% with pratical qualities, while the student response questionnaire yielded an 88% percentage that was rated as extremely successful. In the class X of SMA Muhammadiyah Boarding School Tarakan, product trials were conducted. The outcomes of the study and creation of short story books as educational tools were appropriate to be used in Inndonesian language instruction, particularly, in class XI short story instruction.
