Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat didalam novel Si Anak Badai karya Tere Liye. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kajian sosiologi sastra yang berbentuk kalimat yang berkaitan dengan nilai pendidikan karakter. Teknik penggumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik baca, teknik simak, dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik membaca, mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, mendeskripsikan dan menyimpulkan. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah hasil pencatatan dan kutipan-kutipan pada kalimat dan paragraf. Dalam hasil penelitian ini terdapat 38 data yang tergolong ke dalam nilai pendidikan karakter antara lain, disiplin, kreatif, peduli sosial, tanggungjawab, religius, kerja keras, demokratis, bersahabat, dan rasa ingin tahu.

This study aims to identify and analyze the value of character education as presented in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. This research method employs literary sociological studies in sentences about the value of character education. The data collection techniques utilized in this research include reading, listening, and note-taking techniques. The data analysis techniques employed in this research include reading. identifying, classifying, describing, and concluding techniques. The data sources utilized in this research are the results of recording and quotations in sentences and paragraphs. The findings of this study indicate that 38 data points were classified into character education values, including discipline, creativity, social care, responsibility, religion, hard work, democracy, friendship, and curiosity. In the context of the contemporary millennial era, the promotion of character education is of paramount importance. This is because it can facilitate the development of the human person in a manner that enables them to cultivate and reflect cultural values in their daily lives Keywords: Character Education Values, Novel, Sociology of Literature
