Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki maksud untuk mengetahui teknik konseling kelompok terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Apakah ada pengaruh teknik konseling kelompok terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas XII MAN Tarakan?. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dalam bentuk One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi berjumlah 91 siswa kelas XII MAN Tarakan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar yang rendah dan rekomendasi dari guru bk, wali kelas, teman sekelas dan kesiswaan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala motivasi belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis statistik nonparametris yaitu uji Wilcoxon menggunakan SPSS versi 23,00 for windows diperoleh nilai sig.2 tailed sebesar 0,002 dengan taraf signifikan a sebesar 0,05 maka HO ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh teknik konseling kelompok terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas XII MAN Tarakan.

This research aims to determine the effect of group counseling techniques on students’ learning motivation. Does group counseling techniques have an influence on the learning motivation of grade XII students at the MAN Tarakan? One Group Pretest Posttest Design, a short of pre-experimental design, was the study method used. The population consisted of 91 students in grade XII of the school. Purposive sampling was used in the sampling process. The research sample consisted of students with low learning motivation as recommended by the guidance counselor, class teacher, classmates, and student affairs. Data collection was done using a learning motivation scale. Both inferential and descriptive statistical analysis were utilized in data analysis techniques. According to the study’s findings, HO was rejected since the Wilcoxon test, which was conducted using SPSS version 23,00 for Windows and nonparametric statistical analysis, produced a two-tailed sig value of 0,002 at a significant level of 0,05. This indicates that there was an influence of group counseling techniques on the learning motivation of grade XII students at the MAN Tarakan.
