Abstract
Semakin pesatnya peningkatan beban di masyarakat maka semakin besar juga potensi terjadinya ketidakseimbangnya beban, sehingga akan memicu terjadinya overlood, losses, bahkan dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada gardu dan trafo. Dampak dari beban tidak seimbang tersebut justru akan merugikan kedua belah pihak. Penyeimbangan beban dilakukaan di trafo distribusi pada gardu BKR 43 yang bertempat di PT. PLN (persero) ULP Nunukan. Metode yang dingunakan dengan cara menganalisa ketidakseimbangan beban setiap fasa, selanjutnya data hasil pengukuran dianalisis melalui perhitungan ketidakseimbangan beban stiap fasanya. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh keseimbangan beban pada beban dasar yaitu jurusan A=1,3%, B=2,67%, D=2,67% dan untuk arus netral pada penghantar netral di peroleh N=2,01 A. kemudian keseimbangan beban pada beban puncak yaitu jurusan A=0,33%, B=1%, D=8% dan untuk arus netral pada penghantar netral di peroleh N=6,83 A.

As community demands surge of electricity, there arises an escalating risk of load imbalances within distribution systems, potentially leading to overloads, losses, and even detrimental impacts on substations and transformers. Such imbalances pose threats to both operational efficiency and equipment longevity. To address this issue, load balancing measures were carried out in the distribution transformer at BKR 43 substation of PT PLN (Persero) ULP Nunukan. This study involved an analysis of load imbalances across individual phases, followed by the examination of measurement data to quantify these imbalances. Based on the results of the calculation, the load balance observed during base load conditions indicated a distribution of A=1.3\% B=2.67%, and D=2.67\% and for the neutral current on the neutral conductor was obtained N=2.01~A Conversely, under peak load conditions, the load balance was recorded at t~A=0.33\%,B=1\%, and D=8\% and for the neutral current on the neutral conductor was obtained N=6.83~A These findings underscored the importance of effective load management strategies to maintain system stability, and ensure the reliability and efficiency of electricity distribution.
