
Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematika Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) dan metode ceramah terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018 di SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu dengan desain posttest only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-2 dan VIII-3. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematika. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Analisis deskriptif meliputi rata-rata hitung dan simpangan baku. Analisis inferensial meliputi uji asumsi prasyarat dan uji hipotesis.
Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan rata-rata nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen adalah 67,78 dan rata-rata nilai kelas kontrol adalah 54,24. Hasil analisis uji independent sample t-test pihak kanan dengan taraf signifikan 5% (a = 0,05) diperoleh thitung sebesar 3,130. Sehingga dapat dilihat bahwa 3,130 1,6679. Dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018.

The aims of this research was to find out the influence of TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) toward the students mathematic communication ability at the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan. This research was held in the even semester academic year 2017/2018 at SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan. The research design used in this research was quasi-experiment with posttest only control group design. The population of this research were all 8th grade students of SMPN 9 Tarakan. The sampling was done by a simple random sampling technique. The sample of this research were the students of VIII-2 and VIII-3. The data collection was done by using students mathematic communication. The data were analysis descriptive and inferential analysis. A descriptive analysis covered an average count and a standard deviation. An inferential analysis covered prerequisite assumption analysis and hypothesis test. Descriptive analysis showed the average value posttest of the experiment class was 67,78 and the average value of the control class was 54,24. Based on the independent sample t-test analyze result with 5% of significant level % (a = 0,05) t count = 3,130 and t table= 1,6679 therefore it can be seen that 3,130 > 1,6679. It means that H0 was rejected, and it can be concluded that the TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) influence on mathematic communication of 8th grade student of SMP Negeri 9 Tarakan in academic year of 2017/2018.
