
Pengaruh Strategi Pembelajaran REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, And Transferring) Terhadap Keaktifan Siswa Kelas X SMKN 2 Tarakan

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring) terhadap keaktifan siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Desaign. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester genap tahun 2016/2017 di SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan dan sampelnya adalah kelas X Teknik Otomotif 1 dengan jumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) 2 dengan jumlah 25 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan uji MannWhitney untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran REACT terhadap keaktifan siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan.
Hasil analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif menunjukan bahwa keaktifan siswa pada kelas kontrol mengalami penurunan presentase tertinggi ditunjukan pada keterangan “kurang aktif” dari 72% menjadi 60%. Sedangkan pada kelas eksperimen pada observasi awal presentase tertinggi ditunjukan pada keterangan “kurang aktif” yaitu 62,5% , tetapi mengalami perubahan yang lebih baik setelah diberi perlakuan yaitu 56,2% pada keterangan “aktif”. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney bahwa penilaian keaktifan siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan diperoleh z = 0,19, maka harga p = 0,4247. Karena pengujian menggunakan pengujian dua sisi maka harga Ptabel x 2 = 0,4247 x 2 = 0,85 berarti p(0,85) > ? (0,05)dimana H0 diterima yang menyatakan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan keaktifan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan penilaian keaktifan siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan diperoleh z = 2,35, maka harga p = 0,0094 berarti p(0,0094)< ? (0,05) dimana H0 ditolak, Ha diterima yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dengan menggunakan pembelajaran strategi REACT terhadap keaktifan siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 2 tarakan.

This research aimed to know the effect of the REACT (Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, and Transferring) Learning Strategy on the students’ activeness at the tenth grade students’ of SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan. The research design of this research was Quasi Experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Desaign. This research did on the second semester in academic year 2016/2017 at the SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan. The population of this research was all of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan and the sample was the Class X Automotive 1 with the total number of students were 32 students as the experimental class and Class X Computer and Network (TKJ) 2 with the total number of students were 25 students as the control class. The technique of the data collection used the descriptive analysis and Mann-Withney test to know the effect of the REACT learning strategy on the students’ activeness before and after the treatment. The result of this research showed that the students’ activeness on the control class was decreased, the highest percentage was on the “kurang aktif” indicator from 72% became 60%. While on the experimental class, in the beginning of the observation the highest percentage was on the “kurang aktif” indicator which was 62.5%, but it was change after the treatment was done which became 56.2% on the “aktif” indicator.The result of the Mann-Withney test showed that the activeness students scoring before and after treatment was z = 0.19, so the p=0.4247.Because of the test used two tails, the Ptablex 2 = 0.4247 x 2 = 0.85, it means that p(0.85) > ? (0.05) where H0 was accepted which stated that there is differences activeness between the control class and experimental class. While the students activeness scoring after the treatment was , the p = 0,0094 means p(0,0094) < ? (0,05) where H0 was rejected, Ha was accepted which stated that there is an effect of the REACT learning strategy on the students’ activeness on the X Grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan.
