Abstract

Menyimak jarang diajarkan dikelas sehingga kemampuan menyimak siswa belum terasah sebab itu siswa kesulitan memahami percakapan dari penutur asli atau menjawab pertanyaan dari audio menyimak. penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Worksheet yang efektif dan efisien untuk digunakan dalam peningkatan kemampuan menyimak siswa di kelas 7 SMPN 1 Tarakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang meliputi 5 cara yaitu; (1) Analisis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation dan (5) Evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian in terdiri dari lembar wawancara, angket kebutuhan siswa, angket validasi materi, angket validasi grafis (media), dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penilitian ini menunjukan bahwa worksheet yang dirancang efektif untuk peningkatan kemampuan menyimak siswa berdasarkan validasi dari ahli materi yang mengklasifikasikan dalam katagori sangat baik dengan presentase 100% ditambah lagi ahli media mengklasifikasikan worksheet dalam katagori sangat baik dengan presentase 93%, lebih lagi ketiga uji coba pada siswa (one to one formative evaluation,small group evaluation,fiels evaluation) menunjukkan bahwa worksheet dikatagorikan sangat baik di dalam rentang presentase 88% sampai 96% yang mengindikasikan bahwa worksheet layak digunakan oleh siswa.Implikasi dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah Media pembelajaran Worksheet dapat membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi dan worksheet juga dapat menarik minat dan motivasi siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran.

Listening is rarely taught in class so students' listening skills have not been honed, which is why students have difficulty understanding conversations from native speakers or answering questions from audio. This research aimed to develop an effective and efficient worksheet to be used to improve seventh graders' listening skills of SMPN 1 Tarakan. This research is research and development using the ADDIE model which includes 5 methods, namely; (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation and (5) Evaluation. The instruments used in this research were interview sheets, student needs questionnaires, material validation questionnaires, graphic (media) validation questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The research results showed that the worksheets designed are effective for improving students' listening skills based on validation from material experts classified them in the very good category with a percentage of 100%, and media experts classified the worksheets in the very good category with apercentage of 93%. Moreover, the third trial on students (one-to-one formative evaluation, smal group evaluation, field evaluation) showed that the worksheet was categorized as very good in the percentage range of 8% to 96% which indicated that the worksheet was suitable for use by students. The implication ofthis research and development is that worksheet learning media can help teachers in delivering material and worksheets can also attract students' interest and motivation in participating in learning activities.
