
UJI KOMPONEN BIOAKTIF DAN TOKSISITAS EKSTRAK IKAN BUNTAL (Tetraodontidae Sp.) DARI PERAIRAN BERAU

Abstract
Ikan buntal (Tetraodontidae sp.) merupakan ikan yang sering ditemukan di desa Teluk Semanting Kepulauan Derawan Kabupaten Berau Kalimatan Timur. Potensi ikan buntal dapat dikembangkan pada bidang pangan maupun non pangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkarasteristik kandungan kimia ikan buntal segar, menentukan nilai rendemen ikan buntal, kadar toksisitas dan komponen bioaktif. Metode penelitian ini terbagi menjadi 4 tahapan yakni tahapan pertama karasteristk kimia meliputi pengukuran morfometrik, tahapan kedua uji ekstraksi ikan buntal mengunakan 3 jenis pelarut etanol, etil asetat, dan n-heksan, tahapan ketiga yakni penentuan senyawa aktif ikan buntal segar, tahapan keempat penentuan kandungan toksisitas pada ikan buntal segar mengunakan metode Brine Shirmp Lethality Test (BSLT) mengunakan larva udang Artemia Salina. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa pengukuran morfometrik terdiri dari panjang 32,80±7,82 cm, diameter 31,00±7,75 cm, berat total 1205,80±845,32 gr, berat daging 544,80±320,67 gr, rendemen daging 10.22%. Rendemen ekstrak daging etanol 1,50, ekstrak daging etil asetat 1,15, ekstrak daging n-heksan 0,81, ekstrak etanol kulit 1,81, dan ektrak etanol jeroan 0,56. Komponen bioaktif ekstrak etanol, etil asetat, dan n-heksan mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, tannin, saponin, fenol hidrokuinon, dan steroid. Kandungan toksisitas pada ekstrak etanol daging, etil asetat daging, n-heksan daging, etanol kulit dan etanol jeroan mengandung toksik.

Pufferfish (Tetraodontidae sp.) is a fish that is often found in the village of Teluk Semanting, Derawan Islands, Berau Regency, East Kalimantan. The potential of puffer fish can be developed in the food and non-food sector. The aim of this research is to characterize the chemical content of fresh puffer fish, determine the yield value of puffer fish, toxicity levels and bioactive components. This research method is divided into 4 stages, namely the first stage of chemical characteristics including morphometric measurements, the second stage is a bunta fish extraction test using 3 types of solvents ethanol, ethyl acetate and n-hexane, the third stage is determining the active compounds of fresh puffer fish, the fourth stage is determining the content toxicity in fresh puffer fish using the Brine Shirmp Lethality Test (BSLT) method using Artemia Salina shrimp larvae. The research results showed that morphometric measurements consisted of length 32.80 ± 7.82 cm, diameter 31.00 ± 7.75 cm, total weight 1205.80 ± 845.32 gr, meat weight 544.80 ± 320.67 gr, meat yield 10.22%. The yield of ethanol meat extract was 1.50, ethyl acetate meat extract 1.15, n-hexane meat extract 0.81, skin ethanol extract 1.81, and offal ethanol extract 0.56. The bioactive components of the ethanol, ethyl acetate, and n-hexane extracts contain alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins, phenol hydroquinones, and steroids.
