Abstract
PT. Intracawood Manufacturing Tarakan memiliki unit pembangkit berupa 6 unit generator set sebagai cadangan catu daya listrik yang harus selalu dalam kondisi siap digunakan. Kesiagaan catu daya ini sangat penting, apabila suplai daya listrik dari PT. PLN (Persero) Tarakan mengalami gangguan. Unit pembangkitan cadangan PT. intracawood manufacturing diperlukan untuk menjaga kontinuitas dan keandalan sistem dalam suplai kebutuhan dasar industrinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui nilai keandalan dan ketersediaan unit pembangkitan yang ada di PT. Intracawood Manufacturing. Dalam mencapai hasil penelitian di lakukan langkah-langkah menghitung Specified Operating Time (SOT), Actual Operating Time (AOT), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Reliability, Availability, SAIFI dan SAIDI. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan didapatkan tingkat rata-rata keandalan generator set di tahun 2022 sebesar 99%. Tingkat keandalan generator set termasuk dalam kelompok jarang mengalami gangguan atau kerusakan (R ≥ 90%) dan tingkat rata-rata ketersediaan (Reliability) generator set di tahun 2022 sebesar 98.5%, sedangkan tingkat keandalan generator set berdasarkan SAIFI: 1 frekuensi/tahun dan SAIDI: 2,83 jam/tahun

PT. Intracawood Manufacturing Tarakan has a generating unit consisting of 6 generator sets as a backup electric power supply which must always be in ready to use condition. This power supply preparedness is very important, if the electrical power supply from PT. PLN (Persero) Tarakan undergoes problems with power outages. The backup power generating unit at PT. Intracawood Manufacturing is needed to maintain system contonuity and reliability in supplying basic industrial needs. The objective of this research was to determine the reliability and availability of a generating unit at PT. Intracawood Manufacturing. In achieving the research result, the stage were taken to calculate the Specified Operating Time (SOT), Actual Operating Time (AOT), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Reliability, Availability, SAIFI And SAIDI. Based on the calculation result, it was found that the reliability average level of the generator sets in 2022 was 99%. The reliability level of the generator sets was included in the group that rarely suffered disruption or damage (R ≥ 90%) and the availability average level (Reliability) of the generator sets in 2022 was 98.5%, while the reliability level of generator sets was based on SAIFI: 1 Frequency/year and SAIDI: 2.83 hour/year Keywords: Generator set, Reliability, availability, Operating time, PT.
