Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul bahasa Indonesia materi teks eksplanasi berbasis kontekstual untuk kelas V SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan(R&D) yang bertujuan menghasilkan produk dengan model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model penelitian dan pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu, tahap define (pendefinisian), design (perencanaan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebarluasan). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu pedoman wawancara, lembar validasi, lembar tes soal dan dokumentasi. Hasil validasi untuk mengukur tingkat kelayakan yang diperoleh dari ahli materi sebesar 78,66%, ahli desain sebesar 84%, ahli bahasa sebesar 88,33%, ahli praktisi sebesar 93,75%. Hasil analisis tes soal pada saat uji coba terbatas memperoleh presentase keefektifan sebesar 71,42% dan uji coba lapangan memperoleh presentase sebesar 90,90%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelayakan modul teks eksplanasi berbasis kontekstual dari hasil validasi materi, desain, bahasa, dan praktisi mendapat skor rata-rata sebesar 85,54% termasuk kategori sangat layak. Keefektifan modul teks eksplanasi berbasis kontekstual dari hasil uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan mendapat skor rata-rata sebesar 81,16% termasuk kategori sangat efektif.

This research aims to develop an Indonesian language module explanatory text material based contextually for class V elementary school. The type of research is research and development (R&D) which aims to make products this research is the 4D research and development model which consists of 4 stages, including the define, design, develop, and disseminate stage. The data collection instruments used were interview guidelines, validation sheets, question sheets tests, and documentation. Validation results to measure the level of feasibility obtained from material experts were 78.66%, design experts were 84%, language experts were 88.33%, and practitioner experts were 93,75%. The results of the analysis of test questions during limited trials obtained an effectiveness percentage of 71.42% and field trials obtained a percentage of 90.90%. It can be concluded that the feasibility of the contextual-based explanatory text module from the results of material, design, language, and practitioner validation received an average score of 85.54%, including the very feasible category. The effectiveness of the explanatory text module for the contextual-based from the results of limited and field trials received an average score of 81.16%, including the very effective category.
