Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Teknik Self-Instruction terhadap tingkat stres akademik mahasiswa bimbingan konseling angkatan 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif metode pre-experimental, single-group pre and post-test, dengan variable X nya adalah Self-Instruction dengan variabelnya adalah tingkat stress akademik mahasiswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa aktif program studi Bimbingan Konseling dengan sampel akhir adalah 9 mahasiswa yang diambil dengan metode purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti melaksanakan konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik self instruction. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan bersifat homogen. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai sig. (2 tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh Teknik SelfInstruction terhadap tingkat stres akademik mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2020. Hasil analisis menunjukkan penurunan terjadi setelah diberikannya tindakan menggunakan teknik self instruction dari hasil pre-test yang menunjukkan 9 mahasiswa berada pada pada kategori sangat tinggi hingga akhirnya menurun yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil postest dari 9 mahasiswa yang menunjukkan subjek berada pada kategori rendah.

The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of the Self-Instruction Techniques on the academic stress levels of the students in guidance counseling class of 2020s. The research used was quantitative approach with pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest research design. The population of the research were all active students of the guidance counseling department. The samples were 9 students taken by purposive sampling method. In this research, the researcher conducted group counseling using self-instruction techniques. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of hypothesis testing showed that a sig. (2 tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, it concluded that there was an effect of the Self-Instruction Technique on the academic stress level of the students in guidance counseling class of 2020s. The results of the analysis showed that the decrease occurred after the self-instruction techniques were developed from the pre- test results which showed 9 students were in the very high category until finally decreased as indicated by the posttest results of 9 students who showed the subject was in the low category.
