Abstract

Tujuan yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan bimbingan karir di SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi partisipan dan wawancara semistruktur. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Berdasarkan penelitian di lapangan peneliti mendapatkan temuan bahwa pelaksanaan bimbingan karir di SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan : 1. Perencanaan program bimbingan karir melalui need asesment, melakukan rapat koordinasi dengan seluruh guru BK, mengklasifikasikan layanan bimbingan karir dan membuat instrumen aitk non test, 2. Penyusunan program bimbingan karir guru BK menggunakan kurikulum merdeka belajar, menyusun materi menggunakan RPL dan sasaran pelaksanaan bimbingan karir yaitu siswa kelas 12, 3. Pelaksanaan bimbingan karir dengan menggunakan layanan klasikal, bekerja sama dengan pihak luar seperti industri dan universitas untuk melakukan sosialisasi, 4. Evaluasi pelaksanaan bimbingan karir yang dilakukan satu kali dalam satu semester, instrumen atau alat yang dievaluasi adalah materi bimbingan karir dan komponen yang dinilai yaitu keberhasilan dan kekurangan pelaksanaan bimbingan karir dan melaporkan hasil evaluasi kepada koordinator BK dan kepala sekolah.

The objective of the present research was to find out the implementation of career guidance at SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan. This research was descriptive qualitative in nature. Data collection techniques were participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The sampling technique in this research was a simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the implementation of career guidance at SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan was carried out through the following stages: (1) Planning a career guidance program through need assessment by conducting coordination meetings with all guidance and counseling teachers, classifying career guidance services, and constructing non-test instruments; (2) Development of career guidance program of guidance and counseling teachers based on the curriculum of Merdeka Belajar by compiling materials based on the service implementation plan and the target of career guidance implementation, namely the twelfth-grade students; (3) Implementation of career guidance through classical services by working with external stakeholders such as industry and universities to conduct socialization; and (4) Evaluation of the implementation of career guidance was conducted once in a semester. The instrument or tool to be evaluated was career guidance materials and the component that was assessed was the successes and shortcomings of the implementation of career guidance. The result of the evaluation was then reported to the coordinator of guidance and counseling teachers and the school principal. Keywords: Implementation of Career Guidance at SMK Negeri 2 Tarakan
