Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan, pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan, pengaruh interaksi antara disiplin belajar dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Sampling jenuh, dimana semua anggota populasi digunakan menjadi sampel yaitu sebanyak 114 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket disiplin belajar dan kemandirian belajar yang telah diadopsi dari penelitian sebelumnya dan dokumen penilaian tengah semester (PTS) semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang digunakan sebagai hasil belajar. Tekhnik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial yang diolah dengan bantuan software SPSS 25.0. Analisis deskriptif menggunakan mean dan simpangan baku sedangkan analisis inferensial menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis (uji Two Way ANOVA). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan taraf signifikansi 5% atau 0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan; (2) terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan; (3) tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara disiplin belajar dan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan

The purpose of this study was to determine; the effect of learning discipline on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan; the effect of learning independence on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan; and the effect of interaction between learning discipline and learning independence on the mathematics learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan. The research design was quantitative research with survey methods. Sampling was done using saturated sampling, where all population members were used in the sample of 114 students. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires on learning discipline and learning independence that had been adopted from previous studies and mid-semester assessment documents (PTS) for the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year which were used as learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential analysis were processed using SPSS 25.0 software. Mean and standard deviation was used in the descriptive research, whereas essential components tests and hypothesis testing were used in the inferential analysis. Prerequisites were tested using a two-way ANOVA test. Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) there was an effect of learning discipline on the mathematics learning outcomes of students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 5 Tarakan; (2) there was an effect of learning independence on the mathematics learning outcomes of students in grade VIII SMP Neger 5 Tarakan; and (3) there was no correlation effect between learning discipline and learning independence on the math learning outcomes.
