Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media membaca permulaan berupa multimedia interaktif dengan metode eja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan penelitian yaitu, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Kriteria kelayakan ditinjau dari ahli materi, ahli media dan ahli bahasa, serta keefektifan media ditinjau dari hasil penilaian membaca permulaan siswa. Hasil validasi kelayakan yang diperoleh dari ahli media dengan persentase sebesar 90%, ahli materi 86%, dan ahli bahasa 92%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut media membaca permulaan dengan metode eja berbasis multimedia interaktif termasuk kedalam kategori sangat layak. Sedangkan keefektifan media yang ditinjau dari hasil penilaian membaca permulaan siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata 75,4 dengan persentase ketuntasan 92,8% yang termasuk kedalam kategori sangat efektif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi kelayakan dan keefektifan media dapat disimpulkan bahwa media membaca permulaan dengan metode eja berbasis multimedia interaktif untuk kelas I dapat diimplementasikan untuk proses pembelajaran membaca permulaan kepada siswa terutama kelas I dengan bimbingan guru ataupun mandiri.

This study aimed to produce beginning reading media through interactive multimedia with the spelling method. The type of research used was research and development or Research and Development (R&D). The development model refers to the ADDIE development model, which consists of five research stages Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The eligibility criteria were reviewed by material experts, media experts, and linguists, and the effectiveness of the media was viewed from the results of students' initial reading assessments. The feasibility validation results were obtained from media experts with a percentage of 90%, material experts at 86%, and linguists at 92%. Based on these results, the very feasible category included beginning reading media with an interactive multimedia- based spelling method. When compared to the student's initial reading assessment results, the effectiveness of the media received an average score of 75.4 and a completeness percentage of 92.8%, placing it in the very effective category. According to the results of the validation of the feasibility and effectiveness, the media for beginning reading using the spelling method based on interactive multimedia for grade I can be implemented for the learning process of students' beginning reading, especially grade 1, with teacher guidance or self-learning.
