Abstract

Keselamatan pasien menjadi perhatian khusus bagi rumah sakit. Rumah sakit dengan iklim organisasi yang baik akan menghasilkan keselamatan yang tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara iklim organisasi dengan insiden keselamatan pasien di RSUD dr. H. Jusuf SK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini semua perawat ruang rawat inap yang bekerja di RSUD dr. H. Jusuf SK berjumlah 350 orang. Sampel sebanyak 187 responden dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis univariat, analisis bivariat dengan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian Karakteristik responden yaitu bahwa usia responden rata-rata 32 tahun, rata-rata masa kerja 6 tahun, sebagian besar jenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 74.3% dan tingkat pendidikan terbanyak D3 Keperawatan sebanyak 64,2%. Iklim organisasi dalam kondisi kondusif sebanyak 89,3%. Insiden keselamatan pasien mayoritas dalam kategori tidak terjadi insiden yaitu sebanyak 93,6%. Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan iklim organisasi dengan insiden keselamatan pasien. Kesimpulan rumah sakit agar tetap menjaga iklim organisasi sehingga dapat meminimalkan insiden keselamatan pasien. Diharapkan manajemen rumah sakit untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan perawat melalui in house training tentang keselamatan pasien.

Patient safety is a special concern for hospitals. High safety will be produced in hospitals with a positive organizational climate. The objective of this study was to ascertain the connection between dr. H. Jusuf SK's organizational culture and patient safety issues. This study employed a cross-sectional research design and the descriptive analytic method. 350 inpatient nurses who worked at Dr. H Jusuf SK comprised the population of this study. 187 respondents were included in the purposive sampling sample. Bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test was employed along with univariate analysis. The study's findings were the characteristics of the respondents, including their average age of 32 years, their average length of employment, their majority being female (up to 74.3%), and their greatest level of education (up to 64.2%), which was D3 Nursing. The organizational climate under favorable circumstances was 89.3%. 93.6% of patient safety occurrences, or incidents at all, fell into this group. Incidents involving patient safety and corporate atmosphere did not significantly correlate. The hospital's objective was to promote a positive work environment in order to reduce occurrences involving patient safety. It was intended that hospital administration would give nurses more in-house training on patient safety to broaden their understanding. Keywords: Organizational Climate, Patient Safety Incidents
