Produksi cabai rawit di kota Tarakan pada tahun 2022 sebesar 31.756 ton dengan luas panen sebesar 137 ha. Trend produksi dan luas lahan cabai rawit diperkirakan terus meningkat. Penelitian ini dilakukan dikota Tarakan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jenis data times series. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Menganalisis pengaruh luas lahan terhadap produksi cabai rawit di kota Tarakan (2) Mengatahui Trend produksi cabai rawit dan luas lahan cabai rawit di kota Tarakan selama 15 tahun terakhir. (3) Meramalkan jumlah produksi cabai rawit dan luas lahan di kota Tarakan selama 10 tahun kedepan. Lokasi penelitian di kota Tarakan, penentuan sampe dilakukan secara purposive. Metode yang digunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis Trend ( Least Square Method ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) pengaruh luas lahan terhadap produksi cabai rawit di kota Tarakan dengan persamaan regresi 1395.135+85.745 X, setiap penambahan 1% nilai produksi maka nilai luas lahan bertambah 84.745, dan berdasarkan nilai R2 sebesar 29,9%, bahwa terdapat pengaruh produksi terhadap luas lahan cabai rawit sesuai dengan tabel interpretasi R yaitu 0.20 -0.399 dengan katagori rendah. Hasil uji t sebesar 0.547 koefisien dan signifikan (0.35), berarti terdapat pengaruh yang sedang antara produksi dengan luas lahan cabai rawit. (2) Produksi cabai rawit dan luas lahan di kota Tarakan selama 15 tahun terakhir menunjukkan Trend yang meningkat secara signifikan. (3) Berdasarakan hasil peramalan produksi cabai rawit dan luas lahan di kota Tarakan selama 10 tahun kedepan mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya, dan hasil analisis yang didapatkan garis persamaan Trend yaitu. Cayenne pepper production in Tarakan in 2022 is 31,756 tons, with a harvested areaof 137 ha. The trend of production and area of cayenne pepper is expected tocontinue to increase. This research was conducted in Tarakan, and the sample usedpurposive sampling with time series data types. The purposes of this study were:(1) To analyze the effect of land area on the production of cayenne pepper,(2)Tofind out the trend of cayenne pepper production and the area of cayenne pepper forthe last 15 years. (3) To predict the amount of cayenne pepper production and landarea for the next ten years.The analysis data used were regression and trend analysis(least square method).The results showed (1) the effect of land area on theproduction of cayenne pepper with the regression equation 1395.135+85.745 X,for every 1% increase in production value, the land area value increases by 84.745,and based on the R2 value of 29.9%, that there is an influence production on thearea of cayenne pepper according to the R interpretation table 0.20-0.399with thelow category. The t-test result was a 0.547 coefficient and significant (0.35),meaning that there was a moderate effect between the production and the area ofcayenne pepper. (2) Cayenne pepper production and land area over the last 15 yearsshowed a trend that increased significantly.
