Abstract

Kurang optimalnya kinerja perawat pelaksana di ruang rawat inap merupakan salah satu fenomena yang banyak ditemukan di Indonesia. Hal ini berkaitan dengan beban kerja dan motivasi. Tingginya beban kerja perawat dapat dilihat dari proporsi waktu untuk kegiatan produktif mencapai 80% yang meliputi pekerjaaan diluar konsep keperawatan, administrasi dan tugas keperawatan. Selain itu, beban kerja perawat juga berpengaruh terhadap motivasi, yang selanjutnya bersama-sama akan mempengaruhi kinerja perawat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan beban kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja perawat pelaksana diruang inap (Asoka, Dahlia, Anggrek A dan Anggrek B1) RSUD dr. H. Jusuf SK. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode stratified random sampling dengan responden sebanyak 96 orang yang berasal dari ruang rawat inap Asoka, Dahlia dan Anggrek. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Penilaian Beban Kerja; Motivasi Kerja; dan Lembar Observasi. Analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang karakteristik, beban kerja, motivasi, dan kinerja perawat. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan melihat nilai Fisher”s Exact Test. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 49 perawat (51%) memiliki beban kerja rendah; sebanyak 79 perawat (82.3%) memiliki motivasi tinggi; dan sebanyak 91 perawat (94.8%) mayoritas memiliki kinerja tinggi. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan antara beban kerja dan kinerja perawat dengan nilai p = 0.025; tetapi tidak ada hubungan antara motivasi dan kinerja perawat dengan nilai p = 0. 582. Kesimpulannya adalah kualitas kinerja tenaga kesehatan berkaitan erat dengan beban kerja.

The unideal performance of implementing nurses in inpatient rooms is one of the most common phenomena found in Indonesia. This is related to workload and motivation. The high workload of nurses can be seen from the proportion of time for productive activities which reaches 80% including work outside the concept of nursing, administration, and nursing duties. In addition, the workload of nurses also affects motivation, which in turn will affect nurse performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and work motivation on the performance of the nurses in the inpatient room (Asoka, Dahlia, Anggrek A. and Anggrek B1) at Regional Public Hospital dr. H. Jusuf SK. The research design was quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The sampling method applied was stratified random sampling with 96 respondents from the Asoka, Dahlia, and Anggrek inpatient rooms. The instrument was the Workload Assessment questionnaire; Work motivation; and Observation Sheet. Descriptive analysis was used to obtain an overview of the characteristics, workload, motivation, and performance of nurses. Bivariate analysis used the Chi-Square test by looking at the value of Fisher's Exact Test. The results of the univariate analysis showed that 49 nurses (51%) had a low workload, as many as 79 nurses (82.3%) had high motivation; and as many as 91 nurses (94.8%) dominantly got high performance. The bivariate analysis presented that there was a relationship between workload and nurse performance with p = 0.025 but there was no relationship between the motivation and performance of nurses with a P - value = 0.582 . It is concluded that the quality of the performance of health workers is closely related to workload. Keywords: Workload, Motivation, Performance, Nurse
