Some nurses refused to be placed in the Covid-19 isolation room due to the differences in how they treated Covid-19 patients, their concerned about getting the disease while providing care, and their uncertainty regarding the use of personal protective equipment. This study aimed to investigate nurses' feelings of self- efficacy and self-esteem while they were in the Covid-19 isolation room at RSUD dr. H. Jusuf SK. This study conducted qualitative research using a phenomenology study methodology. Ten nurses participated in the trial and administered purposive sampling to Covid-19. According to the study's findings, nurses who could follow instructions, completed tasks on time, exuded pride in their accomplishments, and operated both individually and as a team were more likely to feel self-sufficient in the Covid-19 isolation room. When working in the Covid-19 isolation room, inhibiting factors, such as other individuals avoiding being placed there, and external variables, such as feeling helpful and content with praise, prizes, and incentives, could have an impact on nurses' sense of self-worth. The fact that nurses worked truly, desired to provide their best effort, and were happy with the outcomes of their work were supporting internal elements. Adherence to procedures and job motivation were the hurdles and motivators for nurses as they provided care for Covid-19 patients in the isolation room. The conclusion that this issue was a difficulty for nurses in providing services showed how important experience was in preparing nurses to address problems. It was envisaged that this expertise would enable best-in-class assistance in the pandemic situation. Keywords: Self Efficacy, Self Esteem, Covid-19 Isolation
