Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi tabung udara terhadap efisiensi dan debit pompa hidram. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancang bangun pompa hidram. Pengaruh variasi tabung udara terhadap efisiensi pompa hidram yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan diameter tabung udara 2 inci, 3 inci dan 4 inci. Dari hasil penelitian pada variasi tabung udara 2 inci diperoleh debit air masuk 27,99.10^(-5) m^3/s dengan debit buang 21,32.10^(-5) m^3/s dan debit hasil 6,67.10^(-5) m^3/s sehingga mendapatkan efisiensi 50,16 %. Untuk variasi tabung udara 3 inci diperoleh debit air masuk 28,41.10^(-5) m^3/s dengan debit buang 21,41.10^(-5) m^3/s dan debit hasil 7,006.10^(-5) m^3/s sehingga mendapatkan efisiensi 51,90 %. Sedangkan variasi tabung udara 4 inci diperoleh debit air masuk 29,37.10^(-5) m^3/s dengan debit buang 22,56.10^(-5) m^3/s dan debit hasil 6,81.10^(-5) m^3/s sehingga mendapatkan efisiensi 48,81 %. Dari hasil pengamatan yang didapatkan menunjukan bahwa variasi tabung udara 3 inci mendapatkan efisiensi tertinggi dibandingkan variasi tabung udara 2 inci dan 4 inci.

This study aims to determine the effect of air tube variations on the efficiency and discharge of hydraulic ram pumps. The method used was an experimental method with hydraulic ram pump design. The effect of air tube variations on the efficiency of the hydraulic ram pump in this study was based on the use of 2-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch diameters air tube. From the research results on the variation of the 2-inch diameter air tube, the water inlet discharge was 27,99. 10 m³/s with the exhaust discharge of 21,32. 10 m³/s and the yield discharge of 6,67. 10-5m³/s so that an efficiency of 50.16% was obtained. For the variation of the 3-inch air tube, the water inlet discharge was 28,41.105 m3/s with the exhaust discharge of 21.41. 10 m³/s and the yield discharge of 7,006. 10-"m³/s then an efficiency of 51.90 % was achieved. On the other hand, from the variation of the 4-inch air tube, the water inlet discharge was 29,37. 105 m³/s with the exhaust discharge of 22,56.10 m/s and the yield discharge 6,81. 10 m³/s to get an efficiency of 48.81%. From the observations obtained, it shows that the 3-inch air tube variation had the highest efficiency compared to the 2-inch and 4-inch air tube variations.
